US Immigration from Philippines

Our K-1 visa status on CEAC recently changed to "Approved" but the K-2 status (4 year old daughter) is still stuck at "Application Received." Has anyone else experienced this? Do you know how long it might be until K-2 changes to Approved? I'm only concerned becuase we are on such a tight schedule / need to fly out by the end of this month (July) due to pregnancy flight restrictions. Thanks!

We were approved June 24, 2025. Tomorrow is 10 business days since then, but still our CEAC status is "Case Received" not "Approved" or better yet, "Issued." Fianc is 7, almost 8 months pregnant. After the end of this month (July) she can't fly due to airline restrictions/health of the mother. Our visa expires October 28, 2025. So, If I don't get notice that visa were issued in the next few days we miss the July window, baby is born in Philippines, and we have to hope birth certificate / CRBA can be done between due date (Sept 3-13) and visa expiration (Oct. 28). A highly unlikely timeline.

Very discouraged. I've sent inquiries to both US Embassy and to US Travel Docs about an hour ago, and will start calling the Embassy tonight (Philippine s daytime).

Any suggestions??? We will be absolutely crushed and heartbroken if our visa expires and we have to start all over again - the time, the expense, the heartache of being apart from my fianc , her 4 year old daughter, and our newborn son for 1.5 to 2 more years is too much.

Looking at insane air prices now. Cheapest take you to S. Korea or Japan first. Dina veto'ed that and I

agree. PAL is easiest but very expensive. Happy medium is MNL/GUM/HNL. Almost $500 less than PAL.

Guam would become her POE. Has anyone heard good/bad about going thru there?? Also there is a 3 hr layover.

I am assuming that is more than enough time to get thru immigration and to next gate? I can't imagine at 430am

there would be much of an immigration line.

next year Feb our first Carribean cruise (me and 3 (K2) with my extended family, as 4 Phil passport & GC holders do we need to get visas to Bahamas? even if were just in the ship? or not going in or out of ports? I have a different last name (married name) and I don't know if that would be an issue also if we board to prove that these (3) kids are mine. I don't want to overthink, any info is great and thank you!

My fianc e passed her interview on 7/1/25. How long is it taking to get the Visa? Will it be quicker to pick up or delivered. Delivery to Lubao, Pampanga. We elected delivery but will pick up if it will save time if it can be changed. She has her ticket booked to leave on 7/19, also medical expiring 7/22. We are waiting for the visa to complete the CFO class she has to attend. We are in a very close deadline and just wondering if we are going to meet her date of departure. We contacted NVC through inquiry form to get an up and informed them of the medical expiring and travel date. I pray for good news as we await. Please share your experience.
