So after nearly 2 years of waiting, I finally get my N400 Interview. I pass the civics test / written / writing. Officer asks me about yes/now questions if I'll be loyal to the US, have I ever been part of rebel group etc. After that, he inquired if I've any documents on me to show if we're still living together. This was unexpected for me. I was unprepared foolishly. I only had our jointly file tax return Transcripts for the last 4 years (minus for year 2021 which we're yet to file). I wish I had taken out our joint bank account statements. My wife also doesn't drive and hasn't updated our new address on her drivers license. It still says the old address where we lived 2 years ago. I'm not sure how much of a big muck up this. We have a 6 year old kit between us. But the lack of proof is something that in hindsight now seems like a my doing. Initially with the N400 filing 2 years ago, I did upload scans of our driving licenses that showed the same address for both us and also uploaded health insurance letters sent to both of us with same address. But if the officer checked the wife's license recently, it obviously pointed to an old address and we don't have a car anymore so no joint auto insurance card. I do have records of our auto insurance from a year ago where it had both our names on the card but not sure how useful that is and if its even a good idea to send extra proof via mail or through the USCIS account when they haven't asked for anything yet. The only scary scenario for me now is it seems you've to sit and wait 4 months after interview to even file a request for update. So they can just put the file in a corner somewhere and add another 4 months to my already 2 year old application. The officer told me he cannot make a decision yet as they need to review my file. I asked how long it takes and he said 30-60 days if not sooner and left. The same day, I saw 3 status updates but I'm not sure what to make of these. I've seen horror stories here where people have been stuck in a limbo for 4 months to even up to 1-2 years in such cases when a decision is not made the same day. Any idea what to make of these status updates below (screenshot) or whether I'm panicking unnecessarily?

Hello Friends, Visa-journey and I have long lasting relationship. I appreciate the support this community provided me when I was going thru my immigration. Now I am back with another task in mind that I would like to request my visa journey family to help me with. I filed an immigration petition for my brother and his family 5 yers back with the hope to bring them to US after 10 or 12 years. The petition is still in the process as it is going to take long time as expected. I have always been supporting my brother and his children with their education and daily needs because my brother has proved to be someone who does not care for whatever happens to his children. It is not easy for me to cut ties with them and not worry about anything and live happy life with my children in the US. No matter how much I get mad at him or deny to pay for their expenses at the end of the day I pay them anyways. I was talking to someone at work about this issue and how I am concerned about my family overseas. My coworker friend asked the question " Why do you not bring them here to the US since you are paying for them anyways?" That started me thinking if this is someone possible. I would like to request my visajourny family to offer any help for me to at least bring my 15 years old nephew and 17 years niece to live with my family in the US. Thank you for your time in advance.

Hi, I have applied for Visitor's visa from Islamabad Pakistan. My interview was on February 11th. After asking 5-6 questions, the visa officer gave me a white slip that says that my case was refused under section 221g and further administrative processing is required. Officer told me that I will be getting an email where they will ask me some more information. After a few hours of interview, I received an email from consulate that has 10 questions including (Names and date of birth of all my siblings, names and date of births of all my children, my previous passport numbers, places where I have lived in past etc..) I have replied to their email on same day, But I have not received any correspondence from them yet. It has been more than 3 weeks, my case status on CEAC website shows refused. Please help if anyone else has gone through same process? How long will it take to verify the information that I provided them ? Thank You

Hi All, Hi All, I want to have your opinion on my wife s immigration process (CR-1 Visa). I filed I-130 application for my current wife with whom I have a child too, who born in Pakistan, when I went to US embassy in Islamabad to report his child birth. Emabassy told me that your child has to be registered as out of wed lock, because my divorce with my first wife was not finalized at the time when got married to my current wife( In Pakistan you have to wait for 90 days after divorce to get it finalized). I married within that 90 days time period without having the knowledge of 90 days rule and came to know when I visited US embassy for my child birth report. After that, I withdraw I-130 petition of my current wife, and married again with her in Nov 2020(At that time I can be able to legally married to anyone). I filed a fresh I-130 petition with new marriage date, Nikkah Nama, Nadra Certificate which got accepted and approved. NVC also dqed me with these documents. Now, I m waiting for my wife s Interview letter. My question is: At the time of interview, how we should be prepared in case they ask questions related to getting remarrying again to my current wife? Is that will cause us a problem to get trapped in Adminstrarive process? Any suggestions/ advice to help us get ready for interview in this scenario will be highly appreciated!! Thank you,

Hi! I recently got my IR1 visa issued at the US embassy. I m traveling soon to the US to be back with my husband. I overstayed my F1 visa previously by less than 180 days and I was wondering if that would impact my reentry into the US? (At customs/border patrol)
