Greetings from the core of my heart. My uncle in the U.S filed a petition for family members to immigrate to the U.S. Our family gave an interview on 12th April 2018. Only my parents and my name were in the interview letter because I was 20 years old at that time. During the interview, we were told that my elder two brothers are also eligible and could travel with us and sent me instructions through email on how to set up expedite visa case. And also sent me a second email stating additional questionnaire for my father. My brother had their medical and separate interviews on 7th and 8th of May. Since then our case has been in A.P. In October I check my case status and it said expiring soon. I emailed them and it got to A.P again. Then we received an email stating that we need to resubmit our medical and had our interview at the Embassy on 12th December 2019. The counselor officer issued us the visa which was going to expire on 25th January becuase Principal Applicant passport was expiring on 15th March 2020, but it was not possible for us to make travel arrangements upto that date so we were told to renew the passport to have an extended visa date up to 7th April which we did back on 18th December. Still case was in A.P.On 6th March 2020 i checked my status and now it says refused. Our documents are complete 100%.

Hi Everyone - I need your help. My wife had her CR1 interview on Feb 7th., 2020. At the end of the interview, the CO approved her visa and advised her that she'll be getting her passports within 2 weeks. Since then, the case status is stuck to 'Ready' and case update dates have been updated. On Feb 18th, Immigration Visa Unit from the embassy emailed us with the following questions: Dear Applicant/Petitioner, We have recently reviewed your immigrant visa case. To move forward, please provide us with the following: - Did applicant ever apply for a US visa in the past?
- Has applicant ever changed her name?
- Original previous passports.
Once submitted, please send us a confirmation email at https://pk.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visa-inquiries/. Sincerely, Immigrant Visa Unit US Embassy, Islamabad UA My questions are: - Why embassy is asking about it when her visa was approved by the Interview Officer?
- We have already submitted the explanation and her old passport via the courier? How can we contact US Embassy Islamabad and ask for an update since it has more than 2 weeks since her visa approval?
Note: The reason why her passport was changed because she had FNU on her case since in the passport Surname field was Blank. We asked NVC to remove FNU from her name by providing them the new passport Any help would be greatly appreciated Our case status still says 'Ready'

I have interview last week of November 2019 in Islamabad embassy, at the end of interview visa officer ask me about the Domicile of my wife, my son and wife were with me at the time of interview. He gave us refusal letter and ask to submit domicile online. Mid of December I upload the domicile. In that time i got one update but there is no progress on my case from NVC side yet. I am not sure who is going to review my documents, NVC or Islamabad embassy. I have to send these documents to embassy as well or it is enough to upload on the portal?. Usually how long it took to finish the AP Kindly guide me.

Hi, everyone, please guide me what to do next. My case under F4 category was under AP for last four months, and yesterday changed to refused. But still have not received any notification from the islamabad embassy. what should be the way forward. Is it the end of battle? My interview was on August 5, 2019 at Islamabad Embassy. After the interview CO asked for CV, questionairs and recent tax return, which we provided next week through email and uploaded on ceac as well.
