Hello VJ family. After 2 years of waiting for an interview- and 5 months waiting on an approval or denial for expedite, We finally received approval for my husbands case to be expedited due to his chronic illness. we are extremely happy. We needed good news in our life s. now, we re simply waiting for an interview date. Just the fact that it s been approved fill us with so much happiness and we thank God. I know I have to get some paperwork ready for the interview, if you guys can give me some insight on what not to leave out- that will be much appreciated. Due to the pandemic I had to stop working, I am the petitioner to my husband, our 6 yr daughter finally went back to in Person learning yesterday- I m worried this will be a direct denial. My husbands earns good money on his own. We also are in process in starting our own business, just waiting on business license approval from the Secretary of State. Now, if anyone can give me some advice on my current situation I will appreciate it so much. thank you.

Hello everyone here at VJ, quick question at the NVC stage, I was requested on Aug 5th to submit a missing document which I did right away, the thing is, while the other documents are marked as Accepted, that additional document has remained as "Submitted" all this time. Is it normal? Should I contact them? Thanks in advance for any help on this. Best regards!

Its been years since ive been here. Back when I did the K1 Visa application. Now that my wife's Permanent residency card is about to expire in Novemeber, im seeking for help once again. She is renewing the 10yr card. We havent decided to apply for citizenship because her English is still not strong enough and the classes for English and immigration courses that she was taking were stopped by the pandemic. So a few questions i need to know, what form(s) do I need to fill out for her? I see the form I-90: Question #1: pg2, Section A where it asks Port of Entry 2.h.1.A. (enter city)....We live in Chicago, do we fill this out? I assume we check 2.f. "card will expire" Question#2: pg3, Part 3 Proccessing Information 1. Location where you applied....my wife went to Juarez, Mexico. Is this the city or place that they ask? 2. Location where your immigrant visa was issued of USCIS office...we had an interview in Chicago but I think i sent the forms to a Nebraska office before we had the interview. thats all for now but any help is greatly appreciated!
