My fiance and I would like to get married so that we can file for the CR1. Research shows me that different states in Mexico require different things. He lives in Mexico City. Does anyone know the requirements for getting married in MEXICO CITY? Or if you know of a state in Mexico that requires less than others, we are open to that too? TIA

Hello everyone! Long story short, my husband had to apply for a naturalization certificate replacement due to a USCIS error. So far everything has been smooth sailing. Friday he has his biometric appointment in Alexandria, Virginia. Does anyone know what we should expect?

I already submitted my I-130 4 months ago and I have been reading that people have been getting denied due to lack of evidence. Can I somehow continue to add more evidence as it becomes available? All I had in there was 4 memorandoms from people that know the both of us. I did not add any pictures, or health insurance information. It is currently actively being reviewed. Thanks in advance for any information.

When I completed my I-130 I was asked, The beneficiary will not apply for adjustment of status in the United States, but he or she will apply for an immigrant visa abroad at the U.S. Embassy or U.S. Consulate in. I placed GUADALAJARA in that area because it was an easy consulate to reach from Durango, Mexico. I ran across the below information today and I am wondering if I had put in the wrong consulate. | Ciudad Juarez (Consulate General) | Chihuahua | IV and NIV, except E1 visas | | Guadalajara (Consulate General) | Jalisco | NIV except E visas | | Hermosillo (Consulate) | Sonora | NIV, except E visas | | Matamoros (Consulate) | Yucatan | NIV, except E visas | | Merida | Yucatan | NIV, except E visas | | Ciudad de Mexico (CDMX) (Embassy) | Mexico | NIV, except E visas | | Monterrey (Consulate General) | Nuevo Leon | NIV, except E2 visas | | Nuevo Laredo | Tamaulipas | NIV, except E visas | | Nogales | Sonora | NIV, except E visas | | Tijuana (Consulate General) | Baja California Norte | NIV, except E2 visas | Does this mean that the only consulate that will process the spouse visa is in Juarez? Is this going to be an issue?
