US Immigration from Lebanon

Hello! I'm a U.S. citizen and my husband is Lebanese. We just got our I-130 petition approved (yay!) and are hoping that my husband can apply soon for the visa. I was told by my lawyer that the current administration has halted all immigration visa processing, including spouses, until 31 December 2020, but I recently saw that two interviews were scheduled at the Beirut Embassy last month. Does anyone have information contradicting what our lawyer said? When I checked the Executive Order, it did mention spouses of U.S. citizens as excluded from the EO but could it be that they meant for couples who had submitted their petitions before the EO was issued?

Hello my wife is a US citizen and she sponsored my ir1 visa and we also have a joint sponsor , our process is completed , I am already in the US and I have my green card , my wife is currently pregnant and she applied for wic , and wic agent recommended her to apply for snap , can she apply without any problem for us and the joint sponsor? Thank you

Hello there hopefully everyone will hear good news soon and finally get done with the process. So NVC accepted finally our documents and we are waiting for the interview appointment. Does anyone knows how long it is gonna be till they send our case to the embassy? Thanks in advance

I got married a couple of months ago and successfully submitted I 130 petition for my wife. Now, I thinking about how i'm gonna file tax this year. My wife lives abroad and she don't not have either SS or ITIN. Also, she has never been to the US.

I was told it is better for us to file married and jointly. I'm totally lost and I don't know where I'm supposed to start. I talked to IRS representative who was not helpful. He told me it is too early since rules are changing form year to year " didn't make sense to me".

Filing taxes has been always confusing to me and this year is even worse. Your comments and advises are highly appreciated.

I was told the first thing i need to do is to get her ITIN. if that is correct, I just wanted to know how can I apply for such number and what the required documents.
