Hi all,

I recently filed I-485, I-131 and I-765 on behalf of my mother. I send an accompanying check of $1140.00, but my application was rejected because the payment amount was incorrect. What is the correct filing fee, when you file all the three forms together?

Submitted my son's paperwork to NVC back in August last year. I got a RFE note in Nov about a marriage certificate that was already submitted prior. Which I resubmitted. Again in Feb I received another RFE about my income which again is enough. On the website it said accepted on both but no DQ email. I call NVC and the rep told me all was looking good and forwarded my case to supervisor. Told to wait 6 weeks. It's been 7 weeks now still no response. Now NVC phone line is suspended. Anyone that had to wait for a case at supervisor desk and how long of a wait ?

Does Genocide count as grounds to expedite case?

Would school visa be ethical in the mean time while waiting for K1?

Anyone have actual data or links that show if the backlogs will get better or worse?

Do we have an excel spreadsheet of Request to Expedite. Reasons for approval vs denial? If not, do we have a page that shows this?

What DQ dates from NVC is Nairobi Embassy working on currently? This will help most of us on approximation and expectations. Patience is a virtue that USCIS is teaching us.
