US Immigration from Jamaica

My mother in law filed IR1 for her husband in March of 2021 to bring him from Jamaica to the USA. They have followed the process until the last email notice from NVC in Feb 2022 stating :

The National Visa Center (NVC) received all of the fees, forms, and documents that are required prior to attending an immigrant visa interview at a U.S. Embassy/Consulate General overseas.

NVC will work with the U.S. Embassy/Consulate General in KINGSTON, JAM to schedule an interview appointment for you. Once we have confirmed an interview date, we will send a notice to you, your petitioner and attorney (if applicable).

..no contact since. They have waited but wondering how long more they should wait to do nothing. Should they be contacting Kingston or NVC and who should they be contacting. I have read different statements in regards the interview that he should call to make an appointment, however the email said to wait until they schedule interview for him.

Please advise next steps of where and who to contact for further update. thank you.

My sister is dealing with my parents immigrant visa and they reach the NVC stage. However she is saying that NVC refused payment for my dads visa. She isn't aware what the issue is yet. Has anyone had this issue before and what may have caused it?

Is anyone here that was subject to the 2 year home rule as a Camp Counsellor and successfully got a waiver? I desperately need your help.

For beneficiary class of admission do I full this part out and put B2 or leave it blank?

I have a visitor's visa and not in the US now but the explanation says:

What was the beneficiary's class of admission?

I m Jamaican. I came on the j1 programme twice. I stayed out of my country for two years after my first programme. I was not subjected 212 E on that programme. I however I m back now on a new programme and I m subject to the requirement I want to get a waiver only for this programme. Do I need to submitted both ds forms for the two programmes or just the one I need the waiver for? I can t happened to find my old ds2019 form.
