Event Description
Review Date : September 1, 2025
Embassy Review : Got to the embassy at around 6:30 and stood in line for my 7am appointment. Didn't get in until 7:30 or 7:40. First they give you the security talk of everything that is restricted.Pay attention to what is being said to save yourself inconvenience. Discard of everything they say isn't allowed or pay someone to keep it for you. Then you go inside through the metal detector and get searched. If you have anything prohibited you will be sent outside to discard and join back the long line.

I went inside the court yard and received a number and wait some more. Got called to the window and provided documents and passport. Sat again and wait for the actual interview which took less than 5 minutes.

I was done by 9:30. I got issued the next day and picked up 2 days later.

Don't be nervous. Just answer the questions asked.
Rating : Good

I checked MyProgress on USCIS and it moved from 5 months to 4 months in the space of 1 week. I contacted a live agent at USCIS and they informed me that the times don't mean anything and that I should be using the timeline on the processing times page. As of today's date my case is still at Nebraska.

As of December 26th I checked my progress and it showed Case actively being reviewed by USCIS and no additional documents needed. While the progress report showed 5 weeks until decision. I know the progress report means nothing but I wish it did

It's been 7 months since my I130 has been submitted and my case is still just saying actively being reviewed by USCIS. Praying we don't receive an RFE and it is approved by October 2024

I am praying for the same

Yesterday made 1 year we submitted our I130. When I checked it just said case is taking longer than expected with the last time it was noted as actively being reviewed from Dec 26 2023.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
