I got my extension 10 years green card a month ago, and now I am about to apply for Schengen visa and just realize they misgender me into F aka Female in my Green card instead of M (my previous green card is M) I am so confused now, i have appoinment next two weeks in France. Should i just ignore this or i should call USCIS? i am afraid it will take long time to get a revised green card.

Pending I-751 and I-90 (USCIS GC error); What next? N400, I-551 stamp or infopass? |

I am just looking for others' experiences in figuring out this puzzle (I've searched many threads, but cannot find this combination of issues): USCIS issued me the wrong Green card with a 10-yr expiration, when I should have received a 2-yr conditional GC (K-1 marriage less than 2-years before AOS). I realized USCIS made this 1.5 years later, and immediately filed an I-90 to correct this. I received the NOA for the I-90, which I included in the I-751 ROC filing. I have also received the NOA for the I-751, and a confirmation letter that new biometrics are not required. Now I am entering the N400 filing window (2yr + 9mo) with BOTH a pending I-90 and I-751, and trying to figure out if I need to take any other precautionary steps before filing the N400... Questions: 1. I-551 stamp - While I have the (incorrect) physical 10-yr GC in hand, would USCIS reject issuing an I-551 stamp? If not, is there a benefit to requesting the I-551 in this case? Nearest USCIS location is San Francisco. 2. N400 - Are there any reasons that starting the N400 filing with pending I-751 would create problems, since the I-90 is also pending and I am still holding the incorrect 10-yr GC? 3. INFOPASS - I've read many posts here saying that Infopass resulted in conflicting or confusing information. Is it still recommended? I know bits and pieces of this have been discussed in many threads, but have found none discussing both pending I-90 and I-751 during N400 filing... Thank you for your thoughts!

My wife and I married within the 90 day limit. We filled out our documents the I-485 and I-864, but we're still waiting on our joint sponsor to finish their I-864. My wife's K-1 visa expires on 04/05/2022. She can't go back to her country since it's not super "gay-friendly." Can my wife stay in the US while we wait for her AOS or is it not allowed? We're feeling very stressed out since haven't sent in the AOS yet, and our joint sponsor thinks we have tons of time to fill it out. (Our joint sponsor isn't a pleasant person, but we didn't have many choices.) We're trying to remain positive and not panic. If anyone has any experience with this, we'd greatly appreciate it if you could share your experience, so we know what to expect and prepare for. We don't want to be separated.

So I've received my NOA1 quite awhile back, waiting for approval and all that, but I'm curious where my file is when it's awaiting NOA2. Is it at the NVC/embassy or is it with USCIS still? Curious because I read that beneficiary cannot change country of residence while it is still with USCIS. Thank you in advance!
