I got an email from USCIS that my case is approved and it will take 45 days to send the file over to NVC. but my case online has not been updated. I just want to know does anyone know how long it takes to get the letter from NVC?

what is the next step?

We only had the legal wedding where a judge marries us and have two witnesses sign. Since my husband has been very busy with work we decided to postpone our real wedding(for a lack of a better term) until next spring, not sure if I need to mention this in the letter.

We live with my husbands parents so we don't have a lease or property ownership documents. All the below listed documents show our same current address though.

I am submitting:

1. State ID Card
2. Social Security Card and letter which includes our home address.
3. Moda Health Insurance cards and letter listing me on my husband s health insurance plan as a dependent.
4. Joint Bank Account Letter showing our shared checking and savings accounts.
5. Phone Bill which lists my phone number and name as part of the family plan.
6. Various photos of us since our marriage.
7. Sworn affidavits of my husband s co-worker and my husband s parents.
8. Certified copy of our marriage certificate(which was already sent when we first applied for AOS)

We are also going to hawaii next week for vacation, should I wait after then so I can submit the hotel and flight boarding passes with the RFE response?

Since US mission in India have separate appointment booking site, compared to everyone else who gets through ustraveldocs, I thought it would be better idea to ask it here in regional discussion.

So my fiance's case is in ready state on CEAC site. However when we try to schedule appointments in Mumbai VAC, we get No slots available. Is it the same experience for everyone? For those who recently booked appointment, how long did it take you to find actual appointment?

Instead of FNU, my husband wrote "Unknown" in i-130 application. i-130 approved few days ago & received this letter from NVC today. Now, how to write add my name in DS-260 form? Becoz, my name in passport doesn't have "Unknown". Please HELP on this. Thank you all in advance.

My spouse is scheduled to enter stateside shortly after obtaining her CR-1 visa. However, due to my upcoming move, she will be arriving at a new address (same state - NJ) and I was wondering what is the best way to document the same with the USCIS? I have used my current address across all forms and have requested the SSN, GC to be sent to my current address as well. I want to make sure the SSN and the GC dont get delayed due to this impending change. I read somewhere that a change can be requested at the port of entry (POE). Is that accurate? If yes, what additional details will I need to provide to the immigration officer? If no, do I have to submit an AR-11? Any other options that I need to consider? TIA for your timely assistance.
