Can I-129F for Fianc visa be filed online? Also, does Intent to Marry letter require to be submitted together? Thanks

Hello Guys, I will be appearing for my Green Card interview next month at the New Jersey USCIS field office. I've few questions regarding the preparation for the interview, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I came to US in 2013 for my masters and completed my 3 years of OPT. Applied for H1b visa but didn't get picked, so had to enroll into CPT and finished another masters. After the end of which I decided that I would apply for asylum in the end of 2020, but got married last year in 2021. So my lawyer told me not to withdraw my asylum application (was completed till the biometrics step before i got married) and said they might grill me at the interview but it shouldn't be a big problem as the marriage is a legitimate marriage. I wanted to ask whether me doing 2 masters and filling the asylum would be of any problem? and how should I prepare for the questions related to the same that might come up in the interview. Also it might be possible, that my lawyer would be out of country next month, so would his absence affect my chances at the interview? is it required for a lawyer to be present at the interview?

Please help me with your suggestions, thanks in advance.

I have filed for IR5 immigrant visa for my parents from India. And I recently got DQ'ed for both of them. But based on the research and online timelines of lot of people DQ'ed in India the waiting time for interview seems to be almost more than a year at normal scheduling if it works like this. But I have a medical emergency in the states as my wife is pregnant and I tried to expedite multiple times but Embassy/Consulate rejected the request on that grounds. Does anyone have experience for applying for a tourist visa in this situation and is it a good idea to go through that process.

I had my mother's GC interview last week in the USA. I am the USC sponsor and petitioner. The interview centered on going over the I-485 application and verifying all the information.

My mom took help of an interpreter over phone while I sat next to her in the room with the officer. Everything went absolutely fine except for one question on the I-485-" have you ever denied a USA visa". The answer on the I-485 form to this question was - NO. Mom answered NO.. that tallied up and the officer was about to move to the next question but I interjected and said mom your visitor visa was denied the first time back in 2008 to that mom said "I remember I that i had to go for the visitor visa interview twice... "

The officer asked what was the reason for the denied to which the mother said she does not really know. However the officer was not convinced and said he was going to continue my mom's case and do a background check and she will to wait for 120 says to hear back.

In the hindsight I think I made a blunder by interjecting and saying the visitor visa was denied when in fact it was refused with a 221g...

I believe visa denial and visa refusal are different things and I should not have interjected and caused un-necessary confusion.

Is there anything I can do now to mitigate this situation?
