Hi, The embassy in my country sent me the visa application package for a K1 visa. I just want to confirm that I need the following documents for the I134: three years of tax returns, W2s from 2020, recent pay stubs, bank statement, official letter from the company regarding positions and salary. All three years my fiance has made enough money to be above the requirement ($30k, $31k, and now making $37k). Is there anything else I would need for this document during my interview?

Hi, I'm completing this form now and have a question about household size. I am sponsoring my wife and our two children are already US citizens, so our family size is 4. In the form, it's adding up five because it adds the person sponsored in this affidavit (my wife), myself, I am currently married (so one more - thus double counting my wife), and then our two children. This gives us the number 5. Can anyone point out my mistake? Thank you.

| Handling money from sold house when moving to US |

My parents will be moving to the US in a few months. They will be selling their house and will want to bring the money as supplementing living expense to the US incase of emergencies. They fully own the house so no tax deductions in their home country after selling. We expect the amount they would bring will be around 30K-40K. Questions: 1. How best to transfer this money to the US since they will not have a bank account here yet? - Is it better to put it on a foreign bank card then withdraw it when they arrive transfer to a final/new account? Or is it better to wire it to our account? 2. Does this constitute as taxable income in the US? Does it, even if it is deposited into an account I own? Any advice is appreciated.

Hi Everyone, This is a relatively straightforward question - I will file the I-864 for my wife based on assets and not income. Does the value of assets need to be 3x 100% or 125% the federal poverty limit? I couldn't find a clear answer on this. Thank you!
