Hello guys! My fiance s passport about to get expired on july 2021, and our case i ve been ready since mars 2020 and we re still waiting the embassy to open to have our interview so do you think that is a good motif to request for emergency interview? Any advice please and thank you

The Haiti embassy call today and said we need to update the medical. So I guess the finally about to start settling dates.....who knows just wanted to share something

I'm trying to make the best decision when it comes to filing for my Fianc in Haiti. I will be using a co-sponsor. I'm not sure whether we need to hire a lawyer or if it's best to complete the application ourselves. If you don't mind sharing, what have been your experience? Should I or should I not hire a lawyer? Is it a waste of money? Does it help at all to have one?

I'm gathering information before I file for my Fianc who is in Haiti. The only roadblock that I'm experiencing at the moment is my loss of job earlier in the year due to the pandemic. My mom however has graciously agreed to be a co-sponsor. I'm just wondering if anyone has or had a similar experience and what should I expect? I'm also contemplating on whether I should wait to elope in Haiti and do a spousal visa instead.
