Hello everyone! so I have some questions that I hope I can get answers to. Are we required to get insurance for our spouses aboard before the interview? and I was trying to figure out the DS 5540 but it says its unavailable and then I read this. Update on Public Charge Last Updated: August 7, 2020 On Wednesday, July 29, the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York enjoined the Department of State from enforcing, applying, implementing, or treating as effective the Department s October 2019 interim final rule and accompanying Foreign Affairs Manual guidance related to the public charge ground of visa ineligibility. The Department is complying with the court s order and is in the process of updating its guidance to consular officers on how to proceed under the preliminary injunction. In the interim, visa applications that appear to be ineligible under INA 212(a)(4) will be refused for administrative processing to allow for consultation with the Department, including legal review to ensure compliance with applicable court orders. Visa applicants are not requested to take any additional steps at this time and should attend their visa interviews as scheduled. Applicants are not required to complete nor should they present the DS-5540, Public Charge Questionnaire. is this for everyone or just for New York? thank you so much!

Hello everyone! So hopefully biden will lift the ban today and I have a question about expediting our case. Just today in the morning when i was headed to work i got into a bad wreck and my car is simply useless and i know i will struggle to get back and fourth to work until i can find an affordable car or a new job near. I am really nervous of what i will do in the upcoming days since i have ended up in the hospital because of bad neck pains before and this will make it worse. Do i have a good reason to expedite? Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone! My fianc e is from Guatemala and both of her parents, a pastor and his wife living in Guatemala, have a non migrant visa that just expired, and are renewing it. their son, married to an LPR, entered last year and submitted an AOS. They are struggling with the question of inmediate relatives in the united states, as their son already filed his AOS, now he is no longer a tourist but is not an LPR yet. (Correct me if i'm wrong, please!) I told them to put other/I don't know as it seems to be the most adequate answer to put in the form, but what would be the best answer??? thanks in advance for your clarifications/ answers.

I just checked my case status via https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/ and it says that my Form I-129F was approved today and that they have sent me a letter with further instructions. What does this mean and what instructions will I be receiving? Will the beneficiary be receiving something as well?
