US Immigration from Ghana

Updated visa issuances for July 2021 below. There has been a lot of discussion whether the Ghana embassy was still conducting interviews, it looks like they are but still at a lower rate than pre-COVID.

K1: lower visa issuances than June 2017, but the same number as July 2019.

IR1: stable for the past 3 months, but averaging about a third to a half of pre-COVID levels.

CR1s: Haven't been CR1s for awhile due to the length of time it is taking to get through.

What I continue to be struck by is how the operating levels at different embassies throughout Africa vary even though most have low levels of COVID. Many other African embassies are processing CR1s and applications appear to be moving through much faster than the Ghana embassy.

Please should I answer yes or no to this question Do you seek to enter the United state for the purpose of performing skilled or unskilled labor but have not yet been certified by the secretary of labor?

Please does my primary occupation question in my DS - 260 mean the job I m currently doing ( full time job) or what I have on my degree?

Because next question on the form is about present employer

Please has anyone filled the DS 260 form recently? Does it still have a section for previous work and school details? Mine does not

I helped my niece filled hers years back and it had a section for a previous jobs and schools and she listed all schools she attended? Or it has been modified now?

Please can I write DOES NOT APPLY in the box under STATE/ PROVINCE ? I don t want to tick the Do not know box because my country we don t do state and province?
