Hey guys! I didn t apply for an SSN when I first came to the U.S., and now I have my green card interview in two weeks. The problem is, I don t have any shared liabilities with my husband to prove our marriage we can t open a joint bank account or get a lease in both our names. What can I do except bringing the photos? Is that a big problem?

Hi everyone! I hope this is under the correct category my interview is coming up and I would totally do it on the spot I feel very prepared and love my husband so much that I don t have any worries (and vice versa lol) but I have one point that I don t know how to think about. I read that lots of people got asked who proposed and how the proposal happened. Our situation was that we just decided that we wanted to move on and be able to live together so we decided to get married (K1). I m sure we re not the only ones with no real proposal but I worry that they might think that we just did it for other reasons besides wanting to live our life together I hope this makes sense. Would you mind sharing your experience or whatever so I can start relaxing about this possible question? thanks a lot in advance! We will totally answer all questions truly but I just worry that they might think bad of this

Hi everyone! I really hope you can support me with your knowledge! I had my medical on 6/17/2024, entered the us on 8/6/2024 and we got married 9/27/2024. The PD on our AOS packet is 10/23/2024. So as you can see we were pretty fast (I don't want to brag it's just important that I give you my timeline for the question). Now with my interview for 4/15/2024 they say they want to see a medical if required. "If required, a completed Form I-693, Report of Medical Examination and Vaccination Record, and/or vaccination supplement in a sealed envelope (unless already submitted). Please see the Form I-693 Instructions for guidance on whether you need a complete medical examination, an updated vaccine supplement only, or neither." My question now: we send the form 3025 with the AOS packet and we send a letter that I won't have to do another one since this is what the rules say. But my medical "expired" on 9/30/2024. Now I'm very worried that I have to do a whole medical again or I do something wrong. Please advise me here thanks in advance

Hello everyone! I am currently writing my Master's thesis at a Germany university and have miraculously found a great case study in the US, in the city my US partner lives in. Therefore, I am planning on traveling to the US late April - early July (10 weeks, 72 days total) to 1. conduct research (qualitative interviews) and work on my thesis, and 2. to see my US partner of while doing that. I am enrolled at uni, have a part time job in Germany that let's me take time off for the 72 days visit due to overtime hours and vacation time, and have my own apartment in Germany. My partner and I have two invitations to family celebrations in October that we would both like to attend in the US. That would be a 2 weeks trip. After reading a lot about denied entries on ESTA in the news lately, I am very worried that I may get denied entry if I would travel to the US again in October after such an extended trip. I am enrolled at uni, have a part time job in Germany that let's me take time off for the 72 days visit due to overtime hours and vacation time, and have my own apartment in Germany. We are not planning on living in the US together, the long term plan is that he will migrate to Germany. Do you all think that I should shorten this upcoming trip to 8 weeks or less if I would like to visit again in October for 2 weeks? Thank you very much in advance!! My past travel history to the US: - Was an exchange student during my Bachelor's degree several years ago - Visited multiple times for 2-4 weeks before COVID - Visited last year in June for 3 weeks
