US Immigration from Germany

Hey I just went to the SSA and everything went well with applying for a SSN. She told me it would take about 3 weeks until I get my card. Now I m wondering should I wait for my card and then send in my AoS or can I file my AoS already and in the i485 and the i765 I just answer that SSA hasn t issued a SSN yet and I also don t want a SSN issued through either of those forms. I kinda want to get my AoS in asap so I can work sooner vs later.

I m a K1 visa holder.

I was watching a couple videos on Youtube on how to assemble my i485 package and got many different opinions.

Now I have the question:

Do I submit supporting evidence multiple times which each form i file in the whole package?

i.e. a photocopy of the US passport for the i485 and another one for the i864 and so on...

or is one photocopy of each document enough and USCIS deals with that once they open the package.

I filed for I 90 in September 23 to get a new card because I have officially changed my last Name now.

Anyway, I want to go back to Germany for a few Weeks next Year and the Online status for the GC of receiving an answer is now at 15 months instead of 3.

I still have my 10 yr GC with my Maiden Name which i got a year ago, so I wanted to see if that would impact my travel overseas next year due to still having my maiden name on the green card?

All my other legal documents are changed to my new name now, so do I need to carry anything specifically with me as proof for the greencard?

I will travel with GERMAN passport, US ID, Bank Card for sure.

So I've had a long time with waiting for I-751 being approved, first was a request for evidence, and then them several times flipping back and forth between telling me they didnt receive the evidence and receiving the evidence. Last update after inquiring, is that they received my RFE (that was on Oct 20) and it's now processing - I should give them 60 days.

Now the issue I'm facing is that due to severe marital challenges, my wife and I had to file for divorce. This divorce now officially got completed and I just found out about it as my I-751 is still pending.

What is my step of action?

Do I allow the I-751 to go through and wait for my green card and then fill in paperwork about divorce (i/e withholding that information)

Or do I file another I-751 divorce waiver / call the office and telling them of my change?

What's needed here? A part of me is wanting to withhold so I can get the full greencard without further questioning and resistance, and fill in something later, but I also want to do what is the right thing in this situation?

If I do file a divorce waiver as they're still processing the other, is there a chance my application will be denied, since I am divorced now, and I will have to be exported?

Any help in this challenging time would be appreciated.
