US Immigration from France

My wife (French) and I are moving to the US soon for my job and the embassy was kind enough to accept us with DCF. So far so good. I filled in the data on the DS-260, but (like a moron), I mistyped her passport number (it as a segment with three 0's, I only added two). It's been signed, with the wrong passport number. My wife has an appointment with the doctor tomorrow (May 13th) and we have an appointment in the embassy on May 22nd. What's my best course of action? Is there anyway to correct it before the interview? Will they even talk to us with the wrong information?

For context, my fianc (U.S. citizen) and I (French citizen) are trying to get me a K-1 visa. Our I-129F petition was approved last month and the NVC assigned us our case number on April 9. Based on what I read on the forum, for K-1 applications, the NVC doesn't do anything besides assigning a case number and then forwarding the case to the Embassy. While some embassies have to request new cases for the NVC to send them, my Embassy (Paris) told me that they don't need to request cases and that the NVC just sends them as they arrive. So why hasn't the NVC shipped my case yet? Is there a limit to the number of cases that can be shipped every two weeks and therefore a waiting line for those ready to ship? I am in desperate search of a rationale here...

my wife and I went through a K1 application before getting married. The K1 went well, but got ultimately delivered as "Canceled Without Prejudice" due to COVID-19 pandemic reasons (or something like that).

About 2 years after this **** event and a tough LDR journey, we got married and applied for CR1 (we now live together abroad while it's getting processed).

My CR1 is currently at the USCIS stage, but I was wondering if the fact that we applied for a K1 in the past, can it have a negative impact?

I don't think so, but we sometimes overthink ahah

Hello April's filers!

I mailed my joint package on 04/06/2024 via USPS to the Carol Stream IL PO Box.
It was delivered on 04/08/2024 and available at the PO Box for pickup since...so it has been a week there according to USPS.

My green card expires on April 19 and I am starting to be worried that my package won't be pickup before the expiration date.
I also checked on MyUSCIS account to see if maybe USPS didn't update the status of my package, but nothing new there.
Should I contact USCIS to be sure they pickup my package or there is not much to do about it?

Anyway, I started the 2024 April topic since it did not exist yet.

Hello, my friend is a US citizen and wants to visit her husband abroad with her baby and needs to apply for a US passport. When applying for the passport, if the husband is not here, can she alone apply for the passport or does she need any documents from her husband abroad to let her apply for the US passport? What does she need to apply for the passport at the post office?
