US Immigration from France

Hello, my friend is a US citizen and wants to visit her husband abroad with her baby and needs to apply for a US passport. When applying for the passport, if the husband is not here, can she alone apply for the passport or does she need any documents from her husband abroad to let her apply for the US passport? What does she need to apply for the passport at the post office?

Good evening friends, I have a relative who won the lottery visa for 2022 and just came 3 months ago with her family. When she applied for the visa she put 3 of her children and husband, they got the interview and was called back to get there visas but her 14 yr old didn't get a visa because they told her there was not enough visas to give. My relative was devastated to hear her son could not come with them but how can that be if the whole family was on that application why did they refuse him? Then my relative was told that her son can join her in 4 yrs. How is that possible? What can she do now, he is there with a relative of hers and she doesn't know what to do. Will he get the visa later to join her or does she need to apply for something? I truly need your help please, she is going through alot now not having her 14yr old with her and doesn't know what to do. For any suggestions your help is truly appreciated. Thank you.

I filled I-130 for my child (under 21) who is living in Europe. During the medical visit, the Dr.informed him that he needs to get an up to date COVID ax (literally COVID vax version 2024) The issue is that he had 2 shots back in 2022 and it caused him a health havoc, almost suffered a heart attack. I'm not feeling well pushing him to follow the Dr. directions. Also, during the visit,the Dr. was clear that "no vax = no visa"

When I emailed the Embassy to ask about our options because the Dr. didn't mention anything about exemption process...etc.

any input or if someone went through similar situation?

I'm David, from Paris France.

My girlfriend got an offer from her company to go work in SanFrancisco.

We decided i will try to follow her.

She started the application for the L1 visa.

As i understood, her company is used to send people to US, and the process will be pretty straightforward (express visa?)

First we need to get married :)

The question is about getting a L2 visa

- how long can it take?

- is it better/faster to get married in France/US?

- can i join her on tourist visa, and ask for a L2 from US?

- when i get the L2, can i work, or do I need to get a work authorization?

And maybe other questions i didn't think about yet.

Working on adding "unsolicited evidence" to my N-400 here and specifically tax transcripts. I've been a LPR for 12 years and applied under the 5-year rule. I have a couple questions:

- I got our return transcripts for the last 3 years online and noticed the names and address are partial only. Seems to be a recent policy from the IRS to protect personal information by masking full names. I assume that this is not a problem for the USCIS? I didn't see any option to order un-redacted transcripts.

- Has anybody recently filed Form 4506-T with the IRS to get transcripts older than 3 years? I'm wondering how long it takes.

- Finally, in my case would you submit return transcripts for the last 5 years, or for every year since my ROC (that would be 10 years)?
