US Immigration from France

I have a valid 10 year green card (based on marriage) but my wife and I moved back to France 3 three years ago and never travelled to the US during this time. I never applied for abandoning my status, but due to bad health problems of my wife's mother we decided to visit her this summer. I guess it`s too late to fill the I-407 form from France and then get an ESTA. I read that I can fill the form at a port of entry (but I'll have to pay about 500 USD, unfortunately). So my questions :

- Is there a chance they let me in without any question (it happenned to me some times) ?

- Do they check when my last trip to the US was (how would they react if I lie) ?

- Should I rather ask directly for filling the I-407 form ?

- In the worst case can they refuse to let me in ?

Good evening my friends, my brother in law's wife just had an interview at Djibouti on Friday and they refused her visa because she has to show more proof of there relationship. After 4 kids with him what kind of proof would they need other than whats app messages and pictures taken and western union support. Does it mean they will make her another appointment to come back after she submits all the proof or does she wait in Djibouti until they give her an appointment. How long does it take before they decide? Does she need to go back home until they decide. Her kids are with her but she doesn't know what to do? your help is always appreciated.

Hello friends, my aunt is a US citizen trying to bring her parents to the US. USCIS sent her an approval notice but told her to file for I 824. Apparently the person who filed for her parents forgot to add Djibouti as where they would interview and now she has to file I 824. I am trying to help her fix the issue but on the form I 824 Part 2 reason for request has confused me. I don't know which one to choose. since he original I 130 did not indicate where she would interview I thought it would be 1b. putting in Djibouti as the answer but someone said that it should be 1d. If i choose 1 d , how will the NVC know where we want them to interview? Which one should we choose? I don't want her to make anymore mistakes because it is costing her alot of money for these forms. Your assistance is truly appreciated.

I'm awaiting my citizenship interview, and am currently enrolled in TSA Pre to make air travel more convenient. I used my green card to enroll in the system. What happens once I get naturalized? Can I update my status and provide my US passport as the supporting identity document, once I have one? Or do I need to completely re-enroll? I couldn't find the answer on the TSA website or by googling the question. Surely someone else here has had to go through the process?

I have my interview on Tuesday in San Francisco, a field office that does same day oath ceremonies. I'm crossing all fingers, toes, limbs, etc and knocking on wood that all is going to go fine, and I'm well prepared. I even went to the USCIS building on Friday and talked to the security people to ask for advice about how early to show up, lol! (Helps that it's 2 blocks from my gym).

If I do get approved during the interview, how does the same day oath ceremony work? Is it automatic for anyone approved that day? Do you have to request it? I'm curious to hear about people who have experienced it.
