This thread was created for those who are waiting for their NOA2 K-1 case assignment from NVC and then tracking your case onwards to your Embassy.

Your case will be forwarded from USCIS to NVC shortly (cases have been taking 30-60 days to reach NVC. Please be patient). Once your case has arrived at NVC , you will be assigned a new case number (your old USCIS case number will not give you any NVC updates).

Please note, it was brought to my attention that some of the information may be outdated, but most of the helpful tips and tricks are still accurate. Regarding your packet 3, there isn t anyone within VJ currently providing that information for each embassy so that part of the PDF may be disregarded.

NVC sends petitions to the embassy every two weeks on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. We normally have a calendar but I haven t located one for 2025 yet.

I am the petitioner and helpping my son (the aplicant)

He just received an email from the Santo Domingo IV CEAC asking him to log in and to upload a police certificate.

When he log in, he certainly can confirm that there is a NEW MESSAGE saying "Missing Police Certificate"

BUT when he goes to the DOCUMENTS ---> CIVIL DOCUMENTS, all documents are received and accepted.

and less than two years, so it is not expired.

says: Please do not submit your new or updated police certificates to NVC.

So, what to do?

Has anyone else noticed that the Ask Emma button is missing, or is it just me?

I have been in contact with the Dominican Republic counselor section for over four months with regards to registering on their website. We have received an email that we are ready to schedule an appointment our K-1 fianc visa back in December . I have been going back-and-forth with their support team, I have been in contact with four other counselors officers and none of them has helped us with the problem.They have said that they will get back to me when they have found a problem and it s been over four months that I have been having problems with them. Has anyone have this problem?

I submitted an inquiry to NVC because they haven t added the substitute sponsor in CEAC yet. They responded that my petition is undergoing necessary additional processing and that I will be notified when it s complete. Has anyone experienced this before and knows how long this process usually takes?
