US Immigration from Dominican Republic

My stepson has an interview scheduled for May 11 (IR-2 of USC). The DS-260 confirmation page only has his first name but not middle name under "provided name."

What I did erroneously was only put his first name in the "name provided" section on the visa application. However, I wrote his full name in "name in native language."

Every single document, including the interview letter, receipts, and even correspondence from the embassy for an updated police report lists his full name (first and middle). His name on his passport includes his first and middle.

We scheduled his biometric appointment (that includes his first and middle name with the confirmation number). He had his medicals done on Monday with no problems. He is worried that he will not be able to do his biometrics but all numbers correspond. The VAC appointment confirmation and numbers have his first and middle name as listed on his passport. (The only issue is the DS-260 has his first and last name under "provided name.")

The case is at the embassy and we know that we can make any necessary corrections with the consulate officer at the interview. We just want to make sure that he can get his biometrics done simply because it is nearly impossible to get an appointment with VAC at this stage. There is no way to manually input the middle name in the DS-260.

Hope this makes sense. I just want to make sure what we can do. This is minor and we hope it doesn't become anything major.

I would like to have an idea on what DQ date the embassy in Santo Domingo is interviewing.

My mothers PD is July 3, 2020

Still waiting on NVC to DQ her documents.

Can I estimate another 12 months wait, if so I just want to relax and forget about the case for awhile. Immigration processes stress me out a lot and I can't deal with this amount of stress right now.

Anybody know where they are at ? We ve been documentary qualified since August 2020, No interview yet ! This is annoying!!

We received the interview letter today that my stepdaughter is scheduled for an interview on May 11 in Santo Domingo. I'm a USC. She is age 5. We are getting her to medicals done first thing Monday but does she need to also get her Biometrics at VAC? We really need to know something rather quickly so as to be prepared. 3 weeks does not give us much time but we are overjoyed. What do we need to be prepared for the interview since she is five years old?

The A# is at the bottom of the interview notice. Is this common for her to get an A# before an interview?

I am sponsoring my husband from Dominican Republic. The only thing I have heard from uscis was the notification that they had received my paperwork on June 30th, 2020. I get emails from this site saying estimates that we could be approved around late May- late June. While that is extremely exciting if that s true, my employer who is a lawyer looked into my case filing center and apparently they are still working on November 2019 cases ugh. I m really wondering if there is any way to know or even estimate when we could be approved at this point. Or anything to do to speed things up? I know Covid made some major delays in their offices. Also for a household of 2, just my husband and I, how much money do I have to show that I make?
