US Immigration from Dominican Republic

Hi ,

I'm a little confused. We applied for my husband's ROC back in December of 2019. Case was finally transferred to our local office for an interview. We are scheduled for 12/15/21. We received a letter from the local office saying that our interview was cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances or upon our request. That it would be rescheduled. The person who typed the letter also put September instead of December. What should we do at this point, we have been waiting for 2 years now. Case status does not show anything being cancelled.

I would like to know if someone who is retired starting 2021, can be a sponsor of someone who is adjusting his status in USA. The intended sponsor has enough income in his income tax for 2020 and previous income tax years. His only income right now is from his retirement. And if he can be a sponsor, which supporting documents need to be sent to USCIS.

I am currently putting in an application for both of my wife's parents. I already have my mother in laws application done, but not submitted, and want to work on the fathers separately online. She saw somewhere (I'm sure it's some Instagram moron) saying that the parent's paperwork should only be filed by mail, together in the same envelope so they get the same interview dates at the embassy.

I just need a few of you to tell my wife that this person is full of ####. There are different circumstances between her parents (one has a tourist visa, the other doesn't) and she doesn't want me to file online anymore.

I-130, Parents both from the Dominican Republic.

I hate when she brings stuff like this up, because she'll just use it against me later if one parent takes longer than the other.

Do you have to have an apostille marriage certificate for the I-130 ? Or does it have to just be legally translated? (My marriage certificate is in Spanish)
