Hi everyone, My spouse filed our I-130 petition on March 26, 2024, and we hadn t received any updates until June 12, 2025 (5 days ago), when we got an email from USCIS saying: We have taken action on your case. However, our USCIS online account still shows the same status: Case Was Received and A Receipt Notice Was Sent no visible updates or changes. We chatted with Emma yesterday (June 16), and the live agent informed us that our case was transferred to another service center. It s discouraging because we were hopeful this meant our case was finally moving forward. Has anyone experienced a similar transfer from the California Service Center? If so, how long did it take after the transfer for your case to progress? Priority Date: March 26, 2024 Original Service Center: California Update 1: June 12, 2025 Received We have taken action email Update 2: June 16, 2025 Live agent confirmed service center transfer Thanks in advance for sharing your experiences! Renzo & Reynaldo.

Hello, Our case was sent at to the NVC at the end of April, the 24th. It arrived in the middle of May, but we have not received a welcome letter. I did do the AskNVC thing and we got our case number on the 19th of May, but we haven t heard anything about a welcome letter or when we can schedule the interview. I m wondering if anybody near our dates is also waiting on their letter or if we are behind. If so, is there some step I missed that we re supposed to complete before they send our letter?

Hello all. My wife has been here nearly 10 years, and we are now bringing her mother to live with us. Filling out the i864, part 6 line 7 we have filled out my wife's annual income, and since it is above the 125% poverty threshold we don't need to add another income. When getting to part 6, lines 16 a/b/c which asks for the total income from recent and previous tax returns, the income is our joint total income, and of course doesn't match what is on part 6, lines 7 and 12. If they look at the attached 3 years of tax transcripts they can easily see that they are joint tax returns. Would the mismatch in the numbers cause a problem, or should we expect that they would be able to ascertain the reason for the mismatch? we could fill out the i864A, but it doesn't really seem necessary. Would it help to add an explanation in part 11 for additional information? Thank you for any help or clarification you could offer. I've got a couple of other questions, too, which I'll be adding separately. Thanks, Pat

I tried dozens of tutorials trying to find it and there is no place where to find it in my account, not even in the emails for confirmation, there is not even a "profile" section in my account. I am filling the N400 and i am stuck where it says, USCIS online account number

this is a rare visa when it comes to AOS but has anyone here gone through the process for this ? what was the process like ? I am trying my best to avoid having my spouse return to her home country to be able to file form i-566 which according to DOS she needs to leave the country to continue with that process , i have asked many lawyers and 99% do not know how to properly deal with this. I need help with this i really do not want my spouse to leave and have to wait months on end till she is allowed back. I am a US veteran and dont know how that would help my case .
