I've been looking for some Santo Domingo threads to keep myself updated with the waiting timelines for the interview letter and the scheduled interview date. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to see updated entries on the subjet.

If your case is going to be processed at Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic and you were DQ, please post your DQ date and let us know once you receive your interview letter. Let's share this information with other members from the same country so everyone is aware. You know how we are!

To begin, our case was DQ last September 9th, 2022. I hope to get the Interview Letter (IL) by mid December or so, about three months after being DQ.

A few months ago I filed an expedite request for my fianc s visa because I was pregnant with our first child and had an extensive history with depression, anxiety, debilitating panic attacks and suicide ideation. I had gotten to a good place prior to meeting my fianc , but when I became pregnant, my depression and anxiety had came back. I contacted USCIS to file an expedite request, which was denied! I decided to get a lawyer to assist with the latter half of this process because I just no longer wanted to deal with the process on our own. Well last month, at 20weeks and 4 days, I unfortunately, lost our child which has caused my symptoms to worsen like nothing I ve ever seen before. I decided to come visit my fianc in the DR so I could have time to emotionally heal together and also spend time together since we haven t seen each other for over 4 months. This morning I decided to check the website to check processing times for K1, and what do you know? The processing times has now increased to 14 months! I am spiraling! I don t want to go back to LA because I am worried about my mental state, but I also need to go see my doctors so I can follow up on the loss of my baby. At this point, I want to withdraw our K1 visa and opt in for the spousal visa, but I don t want to start this whole process over! I am also annoyed with the money that has already been invested into our current application as well. We have a call with our lawyer about this, but wanted to get some feedback from people who are in the same boat as me. What are y all s thoughts?!

Once you received your appointment, if approved how long does it to take to get the actual Visa in hand ?

Please help my husband filed for removal of conditions and has received the 18 month letter of extension but it is about to expire in Novem

ber and yet no appt. Or anything not sure what to do otherwise he will be illegal in this country

As some of you might know my wife was recently approved for her us passport via derived citizenship through her mom. As evidence we submitted her mom citizenship certificate, my wife first foreign passport which had her entry stamp as a minor, her foreign birth certificate, a notarized translation of her birth certificate and green card. Well on thursday she received her passport & this friday she received all the proof she submitted besides the green card they included a letter explaining that the green card was sent to USCIS because the green card was no longer valid since she has a us passport but no mention of the foreign passport and what they did with it. Any info or related experience would be greatly appreciated.
