Is anyone having any luck with interviews at Santo Domingo Dominican Republic embassy? My case is still at NVC and they are saying that interviews at Santo Domingo is limited. Has anyone else experienced this?

Hey I have a case waiting for an interview in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. The case is an immigrant visa in the EB3 category. I was Documentarily Qualified on the September 13, 2022 and have been waiting for an interview since then.

I was wondering if anyone here has any information on the status of backlogs at the Santo Domingo Embassy, how long anyone else has been waiting for an interview letter, what cases they are prioritizing at that embassy. Really any info about what we should expect in terms of a wait time is greatly appreciated. We are considering switching to another embassy as I have UK citizenship, but I do not want to do that if the average times are 4 - 8 months. If you have any information or experience with this one please share. Thank you.

I got the NVC Case # after contacting the NVC. I wanted to know if I can go ahead and fill out the DS-160 form and pay for it so I can schedule the interview. Or should I wait until my case says ready ?

I submitted my I129F to the TX lockbox in May and received a CA acceptance 5/13/22. Any idea when I might have an approval/etc? I'm assuming April based on the timelines I have been seeing.
