I am confused as to when to provide this. This from the NVC Website:

Complete Affidavit of Support form

There are several types of Affidavit of Support forms (I-864, I-864EZ, I-864W, and I-864A). For detailed information about Affidavit of Support requirements and forms, please visit the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service s (USCIS) website.

You can also find answers to frequently asked questions (FAQs) here. Use the information found in these FAQs and on this webpage with, not instead of, the detailed instructions for the Affidavit of Support forms on USCIS s website.

Please be advised: Customer Service Representatives at NVC cannot advise you as to which Affidavit of Support form you should complete.

After going to the link the o the USCIS website it says this:

Affidavit of Support For Fianc (e), Spouse, or Child as a K Nonimmigrant

If your relative is either a K-1 fianc (e), a K-3 spouse, or a K-2 or K-4 child of fianc (e) or spouse, you do not need to submit an affidavit of support at the time you file your Form I-129F petition. Instead, you should submit an affidavit of support at the time that your fianc (e), spouse, or child adjusts status to permanent resident after coming to the United States.

Question is what do I do? I am utterly confused. Thanks

Hi all,

Just a quick question here. My husband arrived in April on a K-1 visa. We did not bring the children because he wanted to see how things were here in the US before bringing them. Pretty soon we are looking at them coming over but I am not sure what we need to do. Does anyone know the process once the parent has arrived and then sends for the children? The children were listed on the K1 application. Please advise. Thank you.

NVC sends petitions to the embassy every two weeks on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. A FB group has created a shipping chart for 2023 that you can use to track when the next shipment date will be. It seems to line up with all the dates I ve seen so far so I think it s accurate and will include it below.

Hello Everyone,

I hope someone can help me.

I am filing for my parents who live outside the US.

I am filing out the i-130 form online and it asked me these questions.

-Have you EVER previously filed a petition for this beneficiary or any other alien? Yes or No (I answered yes because I filled out the form for my mother last night).

My question is When it says where the petition was filed, does it mean the state I live in or the service center that received it?

What would the result section be since the case will be in processing? (Should I write Pending? ).

Good afternoon,

I was wondering if my husband should go ahead and apply for his social security number or just do it when applying to adjust status? Is it better to get that first? Please advise. Any information would be a great help. Thank you.
