Hi, Visa journey Members.

Had my interview today. Waited about 2 hours before I was called in. Once in the room, It only lasted about 10 min.

The officer just asked me basic questions, changed the application to a waiver, and took copies of my documentation (I.e. ID, Green Card, Passport, Extension Letter and Divorce decree).

At the end, the officer just informed that the interview was over (in her own words, ''short and sweet''), and the decision will be mailed.

When I left, the status changed to ''Interview Cancelled and Notice Ordered'' (What does this even mean?).

Any thoughts?

NVC sends petitions to the embassy every two weeks on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. A FB group has created a shipping chart for 2023 that you can use to track when the next shipment date will be. It seems to line up with all the dates I ve seen so far so I think it s accurate and will include it below.

Happy Friday! I hope I am posting in the correct forum, if not, can someone please direct me to the correct one?

We filed the original I 130 docs for my step children on August 12th 2019, all was approved and sent to NVC. We then of course went through that process with the I864s and all docs were approved but we have been waiting for an interview for them since 2020 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. We are now beginning to think that we have been forgotten or our paperwork is laying on a desk somewhere since many people who were approved years after my step children were approved at NVC are already here with their famillies in the US yet my stepchildren havent even had their interviews! We have messaged the NVC multiple times and always get the same automated message stating that they are in process and waiting for their interview date. Does anyone have any insight on this? This is seems liike an excessive wait and they have had all docs approved with the NVC since 2020 yet still no interviews.

I'd so appreciate any help, guidance or insight you may have. Thanks all.

I know we have been waiting for so long for an approval, but anyone else freaking out about the possibility that it will actually be a reality (maybe soon)?

I have been in a long distance relationship for a while now and the thought of actually closing the gap can be daunting.

We haven't actually spent more than a few weeks together, in vacation mode basically. What if we don't live well together? What if we argue a lot? What if I find things about my partner that I never knew about/didn't expect?....

Like most things, you want something so bad and for so long when you actually get it, your like what now?

Idk, just my anxious thoughts.
