Case No Longer Visible; Code Issues [split topic]

I frequently check my USCIS account, but today my case is no longer visible. I noticed several options, including one to add a new case, so I attempted that and got stuck. The system requested a 12-character code that I was supposedly given when I opened the account. I looked through my records and found a 10-character code, but it didn t work. How can I retrieve that code again? Would it be advisable to delete the account and set up a new one?

exwife may need to stay in Colombia for an extended period of time. What do we do?

My ex wife (still living together but she has been in Colombia since December) may need to stay in Colombia for longer than 6 months. What do we do?

I'm panicking in a way she doesn't know because her ticket back is for this Thursday, which will be 5 1/2 months out of the US this year. Why I'm worried is that she called tonight from a hospital. It seems her mom had a stroke or possibly worse. The call went dead and I haven't been able to get up with her. But I'm not trying really hard because of what I know she is going through as she is close to her mom. She has family with her and me being her ex (though still close) I don't want to impose too hard. As of this moment, I don't see her flying home this Thursday so I understand she needs to getnhere by the end of May to keep it under 6 months.

I figured I'd ask here as time may be an issue and I don't want here to lose her permanent residence status.

So, if she has to hang out in Col for some time, how long would it typically take to get an appointment here in the US to get her passport stamped. We live in MD and everything has gone through the Baltimore service center.

Any ideas on what would need to be done? I'm sure she would have to fly here to get it stamped and then return to Col.

Thanks for any help I can receive. This just came up and I know she has a lot on her mind right now so I don't want to bring any of this up to her, but I feel I need to at least learn the process.

Yes, I plan to call USCIS in the morning if I can actually get through to a person. I just hope they can give me some general info about the process, though with the past history dealing with them, they need a case number and her on the phone.

Question:

I'm american citizen, married with a stepdaughter already in US, I married her mother when my stepdaughter was 17, she was unable to come to US back then.

In 2023 she is already 24 came with her husband and her daughter seeking asylum, they have not a court date yet.

I know the category is no longer inmediate relative, right now it falls into F3 category

My question is: Is she able to remain in United States if I apply for a visa for her? Is she able to include her child?

I hope to get an answer before she gets a court date or before ICE knock on her door.

My wife recently submitted the DS-260 for herself and her daughter, and we uploaded all requested civil documents.

We got notified this week that's my wife's application was documentarily complete, however my stepdaughter's file got messages asking for:

1) my wife and I's marriage certificate (we of course submitted this on her file and I don't remember it being mentioned it would be needed on her daughter's file, but could be my mistake, either way no big deal)

2) her birth certificate apparently wasn't complete or couldn't be read. My wife scanned the document again so it was more legible.

My question is - I'm not sure if we submitted the new documents correctly since it wasn't very clear. On the documents tab it wouldn't let us change the birth certificate, so we uploaded both documents under "Optional Documents." Both are there and now say submitted. Was this the correct way to do it, or do we need to anything further?

Thanks
