I arrived by myself. The officer spent nearly an hour reviewing my submitted material while I was in his office. He did not greet me and had scowls on his face the whole time. Questions asked for I-751: When did you get married? When did you get divorced? Why did you get divorced? Did he meet your parents? Did you meet his parents? Did you get a chance to study for your citizenship questions? Questions asked for N-400: U.S. History & Government: 1. What is the economic system of the United States? Capitalism 2. Who makes federal laws? Congress 3. What prevents any government branch from becoming too powerful? Checks and balances 4. What is one right that only U.S. citizens have? To run for federal offices 5. Name two U.S. holidays. Presidents' Day; Memorial Day. English: 1. Read this sentence: Where is the White House 2. Write this sentence: The White House is in Washington D.C. Lastly: Routine questions are asked such as are you willing to take the full oath of allegiance. I was given N-652 and the officer pointed to this sentence: "Congratulations! Your application has been recommended for approval. At this time, it appears that you have established your eligibility for naturalization. If final approval is granted, you will be notified of when and where to report for your naturalization ceremony." The officer then escorted me out of his office. I later ran into him in a plaza while waiting for my bus to go home. Case Status changed to: May 8, 2024 Oath Ceremony Will Be Scheduled We placed you in line for your oath ceremony and will send you a notice, with the date, time, and location of your oath ceremony. You should receive your notice within 30 days of its mailing date. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

Hi, this maybe stupid question, but I still want to post here to make sure I didn't miss it. I was filling i130 form online for my spouse. (I'm petitioner). I was reading from reddit, there is a section to upload "evidence of the end of your spouse's prior marriage(s)", they also include a screenshot (attached below). But by looking at my i130 online form, I didn't find this section. Do I miss anything? or USCIS change the form. Also by go through application, I only see we need upload proof of us citizenship, proof of marriage, 2x2 passport photo, additional proof of marriage, i-130A. Should I also include my spouse birth certificate? if so, where to upload it? it looks like paper form is much easier to deal with since instruction on paper form is clear and you can attach any documents at the end. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hello VJ friends, I am a green card holder. I received my green card through my US citizen daughter from my first marriage. I lam looking to sponsor my spouse from Cambodia to the USA. This is my second marriage we got married since 2000 and have two kids together. However, I am not able to find the record of my divorce decree from my first marriage in 1990s. I lost it and the court also did not have any data over 30 years a go. I don't even remember the date of the first marriage or the date of divorce. I don't even remember my ex husband's birthday. I only can provide estimate. My question is how do we provide the proof of marriage termination to the USCIS or the US Embassy in Cambodia when we file i-130 and DS-260? Is there an alternative or explanation I can provide? Any suggestion is highly appreciated.

My wife's 2-year Green Card expired in January 2023. She applied for Removal of Conditions in October 2022. At first, she received an I-797 (NOA) with a 24-month extension period to her residency status. We still have a copy of the 24-month I-797 and used it when we traveled abroad last year. Later, she received another I-797 with a 48-month extension period to her residency status. Unfortunately, I misplaced that I-797. Originally, I thought this wouldn't matter because VisaJourney was estimating that her Removal of Conditions application would be processed by June 2024, which means that the original 24-month extension would be sufficient until she received her new 10-year Green Card. However, VisaJourney is now estimating that her Removal of Conditions application will not be processed until July 2025 (!), which is AFTER her 24-month extension expires. This means that we NEED to get another copy of her 48-month extension letter which I misplaced. Problem is I have no idea how to get a replacement copy. I tried calling the USCIS phone number, but I was only able to speak to an automated bot who had no idea how to help me, and refused to connect me to a live person. Does anyone on here know what I need to do to get a replacement copy of the 48-month extension letter? Thank you!
