Hello, everyone! My name is Aria. I am 22 years old. I am a U.S. citizen. I got married to my husband in July 2022 in Bangladesh. He is a Bangladeshi citizen. I have the intention of applying for him to come here so we can be together. My parents are not aware of this marriage, as I have gotten married to him secretly. His family, however, does know and supported our decision completely. I am just not sure how to bring him here as everything seems so confusing. I know I am to file a I-130 form but I had a few questions. I am a student and my income is very low, as I am a part-time student but I do have a friend who meets the requirements to sponsor him. What kind of proof would they require to establish that this marriage is legit? We have a marriage certificate and marriage pictures. He is a student as well and does not have his own bank-account and after researching, I read that they may look at shared bank accounts? We do not have that. What other proofs might they consider as "legit"? Please give me any help or advice! Thanks a lot!

I have a 2.5 years old school bus crossing traffic citation of over 500 USD. The ticket was controvarsial so I hired a traffic lawyer who is representing me for this case. We are still waiting for a court date on this ticket while I have N400 interview in two weeks. My traffic lawyer's office is saying that as I am not convicted yet so it should not be a problem. On the other hand many people and lawyer online say its best to not keep any citation pending during interview.Even if I try to pay this ticket I have the option to go on deffered probation for 6 months to make off record, if I do this my ticket will be eventually dismissed after 6 months but the immigration officer might hold off my decision until I send them proof of ticket getting dismissed through probation. Or I can pay off the ticket without probation option that way this ticket will be in my driving record, charge points but might not delay my interview decision. I am not sure what to do at this point. Can anyone help me find some answers to my questions?

Hello, Due to some personal and family reasons, my mom officially surrendered her greencard. She is now ready to immigrate and I am applying for all over again. When I have gone through I-130, I see in the form, it asks about A-number and SSN. Question is, she used to have a A-number do I enter that number? She also had SSN, do I enter that too ? TIA

Hi Everyone, Thank you for your support throughout the entire process of getting my wife and stepchildren into the US. I couldn't have done it without your wise and expert advices. Now I'm at the last step of the journey where my LPR wife and both stepchildren received their 10 year GC. Now that I'm prepared to file for naturalization, I have a few questions and hoping that I'll receive the correct guidance as always. - Do I need to file 3 N-400 forms (wife and 2 stepchildren)?
- In some documentation, I have read contradictory statements regarding stepchildren. I read on USCIS portal that a stepchild can not acquire citizenship until or unless they're adopted. I have not filed a petiton for their adoption in my local court yet. I am working with a lawyer to get this done, but based on the congestion at the family court in my county, it'll take at least a year, if not more. Is this a holdup? I also read on this potal that as soon as their mother (now LPR, with 10 year extension) becomes a US citizen, they automatically becomes citizen as well. This two statements have me in a big confusion. I'm hoping that the experts here can sort this out for me. Which one is true?
- One of my children's 10 year GC has wrong picture. Does that matter at all? is there an online portal where I can request a correction?
Thank you so much for all your valuable insights. Keep up the good work.
