US Immigration from Argentina

Hola!
My US-born husband and I got married here in Argentina two weeks ago, and now we're looking to begin gathering all the paperwork needed to start our CR1 application. We have some questions in regards to the marriage certificate, though, that we were hoping someone could clear up! To clarify, we're gathering stuff for the I-130 Package right now, the very first step.

- From what I've read, they don't want you mailing in original documents anymore - that means we have to request a legal copy from the Registro Civil, right? I imagine it can't just be a regular photocopy.

- I imagine we need to apostille it, along with getting it translated. Do we translate first, then apostille the original document in spanish + the translation? Should we translate + apostille two copies? I'm a bit lost at to what the best order of operation is here.

That's mainly it for now. If anyone has any other tips for argentinians applying for CR1/IR1, I'd appreciate it! I've seen a lot of recent Arg. threads for K1 visas, but not a lot for CR1/IR1.

Hey you guys! I m F2B category (over 21 years old) and I just found out i m pregnant, with first my child (i m not married nor planning to) . Now, I know I've read somewhere here in this forum that you can add your child after he s born to the CEAC website, is that so? I mean, is it that simple or do I need to speak to lawyer?

Just wondering on how to proceed, the baby is not due until October, though, but I wanted to know if there s any paperwork I should do beforehand.

We filed for I-485 (Spouse of USC) in the first week of July 2020 with Biometrics in the 3rd week of January 2021. There has been radio silence since the biometrics.

USCIS tier 1 representative informed me that the current EAD processing time is 3.5- 11.5 months, and I would have to wait. While AP processing is 3-5 months and the rep went ahead and filed for a service request.

• Can anyone please tell me if one gets a combo card only after both I-756 and I-131 get approved?
• Will service request for AP expedite EAD as well?
• Or, does one get them separately if only AP is approved?
