After our case got approved, we got an email from NVC saying we must pay the affidavit of support and IV fee, plus send all the civil documents from beneficiary and tax information etc. Only issue is we don't have all the civil documents yet, I must renew my passport, find a certified translator and translate my Birth certificate (it's not in English) Translate my police records, certify both translations AND we also need to save up to pay the fees as we don't have a lot of money. Is it mandatory to send all the documents and pay the fees right now? How long do we have to reply to their request? PS. Also is any other document that we must translate, and should they be certified by a Notary like I've been told? Thank you in advance for your answers.

How long after you got the welcome letter, you had to pay the Fees? And are 3 or 2 fees? Affidavit of Support/Inmigtant fee/ and am I forgetting something? I have read people saying three fees, other people say we have to pay only two.

Please mention the vaccines that are mandatory as September 2025, I am CR1-IR1 beneficiary I have probably 1 or 2 from my childhood records, but that was 43 years ago. Hope those are still valid?

I'm abroad. Husband is U.S. citizen living in the U.S. We got a RFE few weeks ago and I'm the beneficiary of CR1-IR1 visa, I get confuse reading people saying they did not sign the I-130A form because they are living outside the U.S. butI also read the form saying if I don't sign it can result in a denial. Can you please what should we do? As we don't want to get denied after waiting over a year. Thank you

I'm beneficiary of IR1- Cr1 Visa I'm unemployed, my health is delicate, and we have a 2 year old son. We're staying at my mother's house until my visa process is done and we'll be reunited again. Very painful. Anyway, my country is going through extreme hardship, factories closing down, extreme poverty, people not being able to afford basic things. My husband has a job but cam't always send my son and I money. Cause he's saving up for the trip and everyrhing that inmigration takes and he doesn't have a college degree. He makes enough to sponsor me but not a fortune. I'm a stay at home mom mainly because I have health limitations. Would getting goverment benefits in my country for my 2 and a half year old, affect my visa approval? We want more than anything to be together as a family so I don't want to get denied. Our child couldn't take not seeing his dad. Getting benefits involves going to a goverment agency in my country, getting registered, get food stamps along with the funds (very little) but still.
