  1. Hi, November filer here but I follow all the groups before ours and saw this. Are you the petitioner or the beneficiary? Also really worried because I filled the forms out to a T but don’t remember anywhere says we need to get police records at this stage when filing. I was under the assumption after approved we would need to for the embassy part. Is that something they absolutely state both sides need? I figured they would just do criminal background checks even if you did have some kind of record. This is the first RFE I have seen like this. Thanks!
  2. Wow thanks for the advice. Definitely will be over prepared with papers and make sure the doctor sends in the exam. When you say upload all the documents how exactly is that done? From what I have seen they do have some documents already with the I-129F as well but you say to get things with a more recent date? Makes sense though because this process is like 2 years long smh
  3. To think when we started it was less than half that. At this point I am just glad I can stay here in Peru with my fiancé and await out baby girl in January. Would be blessed to get approved by her birthday 🙏🏾
  4. I think we could find someone to take her but I would rather enter with her. But that’s good to know they let you in gives us some hope. She will have her passport by then so she would not need a visa as she will already be a citizen (We will go through CBRA process to get her papers after she is born in January). Thank you so much for the reply! It is great to hear from someone else going through the process here in Peru. What is your timeline as far as the visa is concerned? We will get through this and it will be 100% worth it!
  5. Hello everyone 2 quick questions. Nov. 2021 filer for I-129f waiting for our approval which I will assume will be sometime in January 2023. I am currently living in Lima with my fiancé as she is 6 months pregnant with our daughter. Actually it’s pretty funny she might be born when we finally get approved fingers crossed. Question 1 : I recently changed my address to my brothers address in San Diego as I will be staying here in Peru until we go back to US as a family, but when I changed it I changed both physical and mailing address to his San Diego address. Should I change the physical address back to my Los Angeles address that is on my license and all my documents? I just don’t want any problems further down the line in this process. Does my physical address really matter? Question 2: I don’t remember what mailing address we put down for her in the application but we are now living in a new apartment and will have this address until we leave. Is there a way to update her address to our new address here in Peru? Does it matter or is it irrelevant because I read that anything after the actual application is sent and done online and through email. I just want to make sure because I do remember filing in her address. Thank you everyone!
  6. Hey did you guys ever find any K1 visa groups from Peru? I am currently here with my fiancé waiting on our visa to be approved! Thanks
  7. Congrats that is so freakin awesome! Idk if you guys are still around but I would love some insight on the process after the NOA2 approval! I am here in Lima with my girl waiting for ours to get approved since we applied in November 2021. Any chance we can chat??
  8. Hello all new to the site but I love it gives me a little hope for our long wait for fiancé visa (Nov. 2021). Question: Do you guys think I could enter with her and our newborn baby? She will be giving birth in January to our baby girl. I already have been staying here in Lima since August. I will be here but I wonder if with the baby they might let me enter with her. Or would she go in with our daughter to give us more proof of relationship along with the birth certificate with my name on it. I don’t wanna use my daughter like that but hey we gotta make this happen! Haha. We assume if God willing we get approved by January we will get interview a month or two later. Trying to wrap my head around CBRA for my baby girl when she gets here but I am in another thread for that. Thanks everyone!
  9. Wow @maxwilson098 I am in an almost identical situation! My fiancé is pregnant and will have our baby girl here in Lima in January. We are waiting on a i-129f fiancé visa we applied for in November 2021 to get approved. I have been staying here and working remotely since August. We hope to have some good news right around the due date for our baby. I have tons of questions about this CBRA but hope it’s pretty straight forward, I already emailed the embassy I will attach message. Hopefully you figured it out or you are coming back soon? Good luck I will keep updated on this site I am also in a group waiting for our approved NOA2s!
  10. Hello everyone I know I need to create a timeline and all that just joining now also I know I am not a June NOA1 but you guys are super active and I’d love your opinion I’ve been following a few months now first time posting. NOA1 date : November 17, 2021 Couple questions. From the google doc sheet it seems like RFE sent are going through the roof for July why is that? I see the other months had minimal RFEs sent. Also my fiancé is from Peru, actually we are both here waiting and she is 5 months pregnant. Has anyone else dealt with Peru embassy and know anything about wait times for interviews (like Mexico but hopefully not the horror stories I’ve heard and seen of 2 years for an interview). Lastly I have been looking up info on how to get the passport for my newborn girl when she gets here in January so that we just have to get my fiancé visa and we can all finally go to the US as a family, is that process pretty straight forward since I am the father and a US citizen? Thanks guys and hang in there we will get through this! PS really appreciate you guys filling in the data and making updates i think I follow like 3 or 4 different groups waiting for this I-129f and it’s inspiring and helpful to know others are passionate about the process as well. When we all filed it said 3-5 months and now it seems like it may never happen but we gotta keep the faith.
