Well I am back from Germany... kind of sad because now i just have to miss him some more..

We went to the American Embassy on Monday, and returned his passport back and left 2 more letters of intent. I tried asking the girl if there was anyone we could talk to or if she could let us know what was taking so long, and we just got the typical "admin processing" speech and they didn't know how much longer it would be. She said she would make a note that I was there, but I don't know if that will do any good or not...

We have a wedding planned for march 1st and now i am beginning to wonder if that is going to happen.. considering contacting my congressman and seeing if that will do any good or not...

It was so great being able to see him again after all this time though... it was hard leaving again though... i miss him :(

Welcome back.

Hoping for a speedy AP.

Welcome back! Sorry to hear that he is not with you. And happy to hear that you are not in some political prisoner's jail in Germany for trying to tear up the embassy. Try to stay positive and hold on to the recent visit. Keep coming here, we'll listen when you need to vent. We may even join in!

You either call their local office or send them your concerns via mail or email. If you do the latter, you should expect a call from their local office. Tell them what you think isn't going right and ask them to inquire about your case with the respective entity. They have Congressional liaisons in the Service Centers and local offices. The staffers get to talk to people that you can't reach. It helps sometimes.

I called my senator's local office and they gave me the contact info for the section that deals with immigration.

Its me again!.. sorry i have been so quiet lately... but sadly nothing to report.... until today :).. not much, but the embassy called both of us and pretty much did a phone survey/questionaire/interview... they called him first, and then as soon as they hung up with him, they called me, I guess so we couldn't compare answers.... they asked us all kinds of questions from favorite colors to life plans to his family and my family... soooo many questions... at the end, I asked her how much longer and she said she couldn't say/didn't know...

I have still been emailing them about every two weeks... with the same responses...

I finally contacted my congressman today and faxed a bunch of stuff.. I spoke with a really nice lady who said she would contact them today to find out what was going on, and they should get back to her in the next day or two and she would call.

I am getting concerned, because as you can see... even though i knew we were suppose to wait.. we had originally set the wedding for september.. that was wayyyyyy before I knew anything about this process! So considering his parents' schedules and when they would be able to come from Cameroon, we planned it for March 1st.. not knowing we would be doing anything with this admin process... blah.. i keep telling them March 1st is the wedding, so I hope they will get something to us this week.. you know have some human emotion called compassion... eh, we will see! Keep praying please!
