I guess the feeling I get is that most people here still have strong ties to raiding on their own realms and seeing this as a bit of fun to see how far we get starting from scratch....who knows, I started from scratch on Alleria 'just for fun' as a challenge to see how much gold I could make by lvl 20 and ended up transferring my main there The scary thing is I am quite liking this realm

I did the same. Went to play horde during a time when Stormreaver was down and somehow ended up starting a guild, getting a 60 warrior, 40 cow shaman, 50 mage, etc., on Frostmane before coming back to Alliance and raiding there. That time it was because I never played horde and riding the blimp, seeing the inside of UC, leveling in the peaceful cow lands and other horde attractions were fun and new. Barrens was and still is a nightmare though. Hate that place.

I can close my eyes and picture alliance starting areas, westfall, doing VC runs, the storylines there, the NE areas, and many, many quest series. STV was a horror show usually. Loved Darkshire and that entire zone - the music, the quests, the graveyard.

For all the horde only players trying this out I bet it is fun to see the Alliance zone as an Alliance. When I first went to Horde I remember trying to right click and fight with every troll, cow, undead, etc., I saw for the first few hours.

I almost gave WOW a try. Instead, my cousin got me into FFXI. It was fun, but too much time waiting for a Party to form and I got tired of it and quit.

Come to WoW, now! I soloed my way up to 67 on my "main" server. Been playing stormrage when I have a little time which now is ALL I have to play...2 words, new house!

awesome news! I love playing hunters but chose a Priest cos I don't have much experience of playing one...but yeh, hopefully I can hook up with someone soon to help me lvl...it is very slow going

Lakeshire isn't so bad. Sort of peaceful and a nice looking vacation spot with some ugly orcs and those two legged hyena type things.

Soloing a priest at early levels is PAINFUL though. It's actually better to melee as well at first and keep up weapon skills. Go down the shadow route though all the way past 60. Once you get shadow form priests really start to pick up and with decent healing gear you can heal through normal instance up through 70.

I'm the same way. I loved twinking out alts with AH greens and blues and upgrading gear every few levels. Up to level 20 it goes so fast I wouldn't bother much, but I also hated getting a new spell/skill rank and not having enough to get them all.

My first 60 was a NE hunter and I didn't get him all his spells for like 1 month after hitting 60.

Yeh...I am going to respec, am holy at the moment. And I am loving my wand...have put full talent points into that.
