My heart goes out to everyone who is still waiting for an approval.

Be strong - just think you are getting MARRIED THIS YEAR!!!

Just thinking about that makes me so excited!!!

Anyone have an input on some nice wedding ideas for a civil wedding?!

I've been having a really emotional day. I've cried a bit and just felt overall sadness. I miss my Nick terribly.

Heading back to Ukraine Friday for a week - but I know after that it will be quite some time before I see Alena again. Anyway - stay busy - go somewhere - do something because to me when I'm home doing nothing that's when it can get a bit tough.

I got touched 2/17/08 and I didn't notice until today. WOOT

We're at the process where we will have an interview for my wife 10 year visa. My wife already have her 2 years condition green card and her Social Security #.

Your case is sent to the Visa Center and one month later to the consulate of the fiance country, the consulate then get in touch with the foreign that has been petitioned in the case.

At the rate CSC is going I think the earliest I can hope for is April - which would be wonderful - but it does bite a little bit seeing people who filed just before and some even AFTER we did, but who are lucky enough to be going through VSC, getting approved already. Don't get me wrong, I am utterly delighted for everyone who gets approved in such a speedy fashion, but it's difficult when Mark is returning to the US next week and I'm left knowing I won't see him again until I get to move over there because we can't either of us afford another visit this year. It's even harder when he's saying to me that he doesn't want to wait until the fall to get married and would marry me tomorrow if it meant he could take me home with him.

Ah well, all the waiting will be worth it in the end! And maybe we'll get lucky and get our NOA2 at the beginning of April - which means I might be able to move as early as July ^_^

We got touched on Monday the 25th. i called that day a did the RFE trick, I was told she couldn't give any info since the system was back logged. so i am guessing this touch only means she entered my case number in the system. but hey at least i hope this means our file hasn't fallen behind a desk.
