I'm so so depressed. My lawyer sent my I-130 back in May ang mu I-129f in july because of their late noa 1. Until now, I don't received any touches. USCIS told my hubby, that I should wait 30 days before inquiring. Our lawyer told us that it's inappropriate to call USCIS now, and wait for 4-6 weeks? If wuthin that span of time, we Don't hear anything from them, that's the time, she will call USCIS.

So frustrating, I miss my husband so much, and I can't spend christmas with him. So lonely. :crying::crying::crying:

Everyday was a bad day. I can't even afford to smile and I found myself crying and crying. I always dream of approvals, US arrivals. letters, and I get more and more deppressed. I miss my hubby. What matters to me now is me to be with my hubby in US., :crying::crying::crying::crying:

I know this can be so very stressful , but try and stay positive and pray alot!!!!!

I feel the same way and there are days where all I do is sit and check the uscis and check my emails. It is very hard to even try to enjoy the holidays without our loved ones, but we have to at least try.

So Pechez, hang in there and you will hear something soon....Insha Allaah!!!!!

Guys, I filed docs in April (130, April 20), then in May (129F, May 25)... Then they touched our docs when they transfered our case to CSC (June 26) and that is it. After that no touches at all until the approval date. The weired thing is that: I had a touch on the approval day (Oct 30) and no more. On Nov 5th I check my mailbox and found two approval noticed for 130 and 129F, but my online status was never updated. It is still shows pending status even though my docs already were sent out to the embassy by NVC office. So, if you don't have any touches, that doesn't mean anything. Hopefully you will get approvals soon. The problem is that people who filed after June might wait a longer time because of USCIS's idiotic actions (fee increase problem).

Good luck.

I know exactly how you feel. Perhaps you could invest in a webcam. At least you two could see each other. Don't worry. When you take your mind off of the process that's when you get touched.

Your situation is exactly like mine. We received our hard copies of the NOA2 but, the USCIS shows our applications has pending. Its scary but, as the song states for Hotel California "USCIS" "You never leave." I wonder how long they will show pending?? So, it took approx. 2 weeks to reach the NVC? Cool.. Its like a 3 to 5 day at the NVC and then sent to the embassy correct?

Best of luck!!

gogo, rebeccajo was just pointing out that every case is different. You have waited a long time, and that is frustrating. Your case is unique and your frustration certainly justified as your wait drags on.

Pechez is sad, but it has only been a little over 4 months since they filed the I129F. They still have a little bit more of a wait before getting approved. Lots of us waited 6+ months to get out approvals. I felt like pechez on certain days, and was reassured by the members here. That is one of the things we are here for. She or her husband really don't need to do start contacting people yet. Her approvals will come in due course. If 6 or 7 months go by and nothing happens, then they can contact a congressman or senator who will actually look into the case on their behalf. Contacting them at 4 months won't produce results, but maybe an explanation from the liason at their office that they have to wait another 2+ months.
