There's always some members who don't really share any immigration updates on the board. I know I pretty much shared every step of our journey from sending our packet to Hicham getting here. I was just wondering why one wouldn't want to share their jouney and update us on VJ.

Afraid of the Evil Eye?

Do people really believe in that , Sarah ?

I don't think AP is anything to be envious about.:lol:

Maybe it's the lack thereof they would be jealous of ?

(And yeah, I was thinking about Sparrow when I said that !!) jkjk ;)

I like to see updates especially from people going through our same embassy.

I think updates are one of the things that make this website work for everybody. You can compare and get a feel on how long things take. That really helped me going through the process, you don't feel so alone and can at least speculate.

Me too.

I know people believe in it. I think someone actually posted that once. The reason they didn't update us often was because of the evil eye.

I was just being silly.

Some people jsut keep their immigration status a complete secret. I think that's interesting seeing as this is an immigration website where people learn from others and often share experiences.

I put all my updates in my timeline when the event takes place. But I see no need to make special announcments like some do. "Approved!", "Got My 2nd NOA!" or whatever. I don't see the need to make a post like that.

I been absent from the forum for a long time, just because with our move to Nevada is been really hard for us in every step of the way.

We filed for the removal of condition on my husbands card. finally yesterday we received the approval for the application and hopefully he will receive his new card soon, this card means a lot for me because finally I will have some answers to some fears and wonders in my life. I will update with all of you soon.

Right, but I mean some people don't update their timeline or make anything known about their process, that's all.

We have been on 8 months+ on A/P so i don't have any interesting news. But its nice to see where everyone is in the process so that we all have an idea of where everyone is.
