With so many successful VJ meet ups going on, I'm wondering if it's time to make another attempt for one in NC. In the past Saturnman and several other NC VJers did a great job in putting together 2 VJ meet ups in Raleigh, NC. I'm hoping we can put one together for those in/around/near Charlotte, NC (or Concord, NC).

If any VJers are interested, please post here so that we can come up with a date and place that will work for everyone!

We would be totally interested. Timing is a little hard for us at the moment. Not possible before Christmas for what so ever. We are in FL next week then England the first two weeks in Dec. The of course family stuff for the holiday.

Charlotte is about 3 hours from here but that isn't a problem. We have good friends that live there whom we can visit and stay with!

I know two ofter couples that don't frequent the Off Topic forum, I'll mention it to them as well.

Take it from me....GO TO THE AOS INTERVIEW DATE ANYWAY!!!!! EVEN IF YOU GET THE SNAIL MAIL NOTICE!!!

August 2009--Permanent Resident Card arrives!!!!

We are Finished with Immigration for 10 years!!!!

Yeah, we might have to do it after the holidays. Things do get hectic during the last two months of the year. I'll pull up a date in January (?) and see if it will be good for everyone else. You're all welcome to suggest a date if you have a preference!

OK. It's time to pick a date for our NC VJ meet up.

I suggest we do dinner on January 19 (Saturday).

Let me know if that works for everyone. Suggestions on where to meet in Concord are most welcome. Also, this meet up is not just for NC VJers. Anybody who doesn't mind the drive to Concord, NC is most welcome!

Oh no my husband's working that weekend, we would love to go but he took off christmas weekend so I don't think he can't get another extra day off. I'l let you know if something comes up Xenia, thanks for the invite!

fish and Reba, I hope that you can work something out and be able to join us.

I mentioned the meet up to my hubby and he asked if we were having it at our house. :lol: I told him that we'll host one during the summer when it's warmer and we can do it outdoors. :)
