I got my NOA1 today!!! Or at least I think it is, it's a paper saying I-797C Notice of Action and a receipt notice!!

by the way how do i add in my time line?

Hey littleasianman7

Change your date for your NOA1. I think you put the date you recieved it as I just checked it out. I think your supposed to put the "Notice Date" thats on the letter on the upper left hand, and not the date you recieved the letter in the mail.

Congratulations on your NOA1!!! I don't understand though, why some people get it in a few weeks and others wait a month or more? Does it have to do with sending it via mail vs. Fedex or DHL? Does it depend on the size of the package? Or is it just TOTALLY random?

11/26/2007 = Check cashed (YIPPEE!!!!!!!!!!)

Hey everyone,

Thanks for the congratulations! It's much much much appreciated!! Sorry I am trying to add my time line and I went to "my assistant" on the top and for some reason I am not able to figure out how to do it. I want to be able to put it on my profile so it shows.

And lovestrong, your right, I changed my time line date.

I sent my I-129f petition packet to the California service center on Nov. 1 and I rushed it there on next day delivery. They received it on November 2nd and the NOA 1 was issued on November 9th.

Well, I am HOPING it's an NOA 1. A NOA 1 is a receipt right? And it says notice of action on the top.
