Man forgets car at gas station

Maybe he's used to walk and this was his first time driving in a while......

Sometimes I forget my change at the supermarket or leave the bags there if I buy a few things....but only for a few seconds you know....hahaha!

Come on! Doesn't anybody else happen to forget something once in a while......But never a CAR though..... :lol:

That was my first thought too. This story makes me a little sad and I can't make a joke about it.

Reminds me of my grandmother who came to live with us for her last remaining years when she was losing her short term memory. I remember waiting with her in our family room one morning. She looked out the front window at our family's station wagon and then fumbled for her purse looking for the keys (it wasn't her car). She was so sweet with a great sense of humor though.

Hilarious. I can understand forgetting your wallet or a small child ( ) but the car you drove to the gas station in?

My parents accidentally left me and my sister at a gas station! I was only 3 and my sister was 9. I am scarred for life!

Two friends went to the mall, one of my friends ask the other one for her car keys cause she wanted to leave some bags in the trunk. Anyways so when she was in the parking lot, she forgot where they parked the car but finally found it, open the car and my other friend went back to the parking lot too (car owner), obviously she knew where she parked her car but my other friend was in another one!!! Guess what? Same exact car, brand and color but same keys!?!?!!?!? Weird!!!!!!!!! hahaha! how is that possible!!?!!?

Oh my God!!!! The funniest thing happen to me once 2 years ago...it just came to my mind!!! Now that we are talking about cars...hahaha! And brother Almaty, please don't think I have dementia!!!! :lol:

I was with two friends sometime in the afternoon and we stopped by at a store to get some drinks, they stayed in the car but not in front of the store so I ran to the store cause it was snowing a little bit! I grabbed some drinks, paid, run back to the car again, opened the door, put my seat belt on and turn around to look at the and said....Damn!! it's freezing.....this happen in a few seconds, everything was very fast....when I turned around, there was another man in the car with her daughter.....and I'm like #######!!!!.....and then I looked at my friend's track that was ahead of where I was and they were looking back where I was laughing their ### off!!! Damn!!! I was pissing my pants but at the same time I was so embarrassed, I just said.......Ooooopssss! I'm sorry! I just saw the big track and got in!!!! They were laughing their @ss off too! :lol:

OH my .. that reminded me of a situation that happened a few months back..

A Friday.. I noticed this car parked in the parking lot between my office and the dental office next door..... grated it is a rather small parking lot.. 10 offices.. each of us alloted 2 spaces..

Well.. I didn't think much of this car on Friday.. .. .. I came in on Saturday to fiddle in office.. the car was still there... Monday the car was there... I simply thought. oh wow.. I wonder if Bev the denture lady next door bought a new car... hmmm.. Tuesday came .. I was getting snoopy.. haha.. saw Bev just as I drove up and asked her if she won lotto cause it was a rather nice car.. haha.

she joked saying she thought the same about me.. .. but it wasn't her car..

We both looked at the car... not touching it.. .. noticing that.. the windows were down.. hmmm alll weekend??/ woa.. and a purse sitting in the back.. bigger woa...

sooo i wrote the License plate down... called the Police... .. Police came.. a few minutes later... did a plate check.. it was reported as stolen/lost from a rental.. non return at enterprise rentals..

The Police.. walked around the car.. haha.. did like i did.. smelled back at trunk.. hahahha.. thinking ohhh nooo dead body .. hmmm thinking to myself. maybe I watch too many CSI shows..

The Police got the wallet... my god.. over $2000 in cash there.. .. sat there all weekend... with windows down.. .. he took out the drivers license and came to me .asking if i knew this lady.. NOPE not me.. then showed Bev... she was shocked like someone just slapped her.. cause the person in the picture was ..one of her patients she had on Friday.. this lady came in evidently to get her denture fixed.. and walked away..... ..

It took about two hours for the sheriff to get a hold of this lady... .. strange bird she was... evidently she went in got her dentures fixed.. had a panic attack and walked home.. forgetting that she had a rental... .. she said she spent Saturday looking for her purse.. and wondering what happened to all her laundry..

BOY did the Police officer give her the riot act... rather... the once over.. and check for drugs etc..

Enterprise rental came got the car... the lady got a friend to help her get all her ####### out of the car.. and took her home.... ...

Just think... these people are out on our streets driving... aughhh

I have ALMOST done something similar once. I had my car at the shop for about a week and had been riding the bus to downtown in the meantime. The day I picked the car up I stopped at the grocery store and on the way out I walked through the exit closest to the bus stop and was standing there waiting for the bus when I realized I had driven to the store.
