It really depends on your local office. For instance with mine it 10 months and a move to a new state, local office to bring it forward since New Orleans sucked big time.

Never got biometrics notice. Went to the interview and did biometrics same day after the interview.

Then all hell broke loose. Had to do biometrics a total of three times over a period of 2 months before they got everything right.

Cost us an extra $1500 because we have to fly and hotel it to do biometrics.

Wish we'd done CRs instead of K3/K4 visas.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

Had my biometrics done, and then received my appointment around 4 or 5 months later.....but...saying that.....we were having to re-submit forms because they had been misplaced or lost.....maybe thats why mine took so long.....good luck...fingers crossed your appt comes through soon...

Biometrics: August 22nd 07

Still waiting for an interview letter. I called the misinformation line and after a lot of talking I managed to find out that my case is still at the NSC. So I'll have to wait longer.

My local office usually processes cases that were applied 6 months ago, so I guess I have to wait much longer. At least I have my EAD so I can be patient.

Really? Honestly- I'm hoping my AOS goes slowly. If my greencard is issued after June 15 ( my 2nd Anniversary) I have heard I will get a 10 year GC instead of a 2 year. It would be great to not have to worry about lifting conditions.

It all depends on your local office.

I was waiting impatiently for my biometrics appointment. I filed my AOS on July 27th and my biometrics isn't until November 9th. Over 3 months!!! The timeline for Tampa (my local office) looks pretty backed up since the fee increase. So I'm not expecting an interview letter for a few months after my biometrics is done.

Hopefully you will receive your interview appointment soon. :)

yep when I applied hurricane katrina had really mucked up New Orleans office which was closed at that time and cases were being processed all over the show.

Check the time at your local office and just have a guess at when you will get one... thats about as good as you can get.

best of luck.
