I am from North Carolina. I sent off my package to Texas Service Center a month ago and today I recevied a NOA from California Service Center. I was all excited that I finally received a NOA, then I looked at the bottom of the paper where it listed the mailing address of California Service Center. I started to have a bad feeling... I am afraid that there was a mix up while my case was being processed and ended up in California Service Center instead of Texas Service Center. I am afraid that they are gonna schedule my fingerprinting thingy in California office... Has this happened to anybody?

Some cases are being transfered to CSC from TSC and others and are being approved in a very short time... so looks like you are one of the lucky ones....

you will still get your Biometric at your local office...

Kez

All cases are being transferred from TSC to CSC. The only other service center that is transferring its cases to CSC is NSC.

That is not strictly true.... some case are still at TSC, looks like people who filed before the fee increase are still there.... but in the case of the OP yes their case has been transfered and they should have approval/denial in a few months..

I wish VSC would transfer their cases, we missed out on CSC transfers doing AOS and now for removal as well.... Oh Well.... nothing to do but wait...

TSC transferred both my K1 and ROC applications to CSC, which sped up things it seems

AOS however was processed by the local office in San Antonio, TX

Entry in the USA: May 13 2005

10 yr GC approved: October 5 2007

Actually, it is true, all cases are being transferred to CSC -- note the present tense. It might have been more precise to say "all I-751 petitions sent to TSC are now being transferred to CSC," but I responded to your statement that "some cases are being transferred" -- present tense -- which is definitely not the case.

The transfers started about a month before the fee increase, so there are a lucky few who not only paid the old fees, but also got transferred to CSC and -- like Silvanski -- have already been approved, while those of us who filed at TSC up to 5 months before they started transferring the cases are still languishing there.

Hi All,

About to send this off out 1-751 to the Texas Service center. Am I missing something - do I need to send to California? I'm guessing not - and TSC will fwd it on their own.

Also, if I'm not mistaken the total fee is $465 + $80 biometrics = $545

Is this correct or should I expect a nasty surprise?

Thanks!!! Damn nerves are getting to me... thought our package was 100% done now I'm second guessing everything. Should be used to this by now. :)

One last question -- no passport style photos are needed UNLESS you reside overseas / military service etc. "Regular" folks dont need to send in passport style photos right? Just copies of the greencard.

Many thanks.

You really should read some of the other topics on this forum. You would have known your answer a lot sooner.
