G and A and C and J,

Congratulations, and I hope your interview goes well, you are almost there, it's all good news from here, study your papers and get ready for the interview, and try to be calm and ready and hopfully it's going to be a quick easy interview.

Urge,

Thanks for the info., but I didn't know they can send the packet# 3 to me as well, when I commnuicated with the embassy with emails, they said that they have mailed the packet to my wife address and never mentioned that they have sent me a copy, I will try to call the embassy tomorrow to see what the heck is going on.

Wintime,

Yes, its hard to figure out. I got packet 3 here, and then forwarded it to my wife. They said that the sent P3 to my wife and copy to me, my wife still has not gotten her copy, and we returned P3 almost a month ago. The date on the P3 letter was about 10 days before the post mark date. She should get it soon I hope, if she doesn't and you do, then send your copy to her, don't wait for the one the "sent."

I don't know what's happening with my case, My wife didn't get packet# 3, even though they said they have mailed the packet 8 days a go, I am starting to wonder why packet# 3 is so mysterious with everybody, everyone I know (friends , relative ..tc) had their packet#3 come late where the embassy claim they have sent it.

[/color]

Even here with most of Vjers packet# 3 didn't just made it with reasonable time, every time this packet was very late

They can't keep her waiting much longer for an interview to be scheduled. I am keeping my fingers crossed that, now they're back to full staff, you'll hear something this week :D

Glad to hear you finally received the packet 3.

I had the opposite happen. NVC sent out our packet IV on December 10 and it never arrived. My wife received her packet IV last Friday.

Thanks Cheryl. I hope this will be the week that we hear something. I feel like a sprinter trying to run a marathon. We move smoothly ahead for a few hundred meters, but have to stop and wait a long time to catch our breath before we can sprint another few hundred. All rested now, I am ready to go full speed again.

Good evening everyone,

I want to say that I am happy for C and J that they are finally coming to the close of the journey of being apart. Good luck in your interview. I also want to update everyone on our petition. Seems I will be joining this group soon as I received an email this morning from CRIS that they received the evidence they asked for and have resumed working on our petition. Does anyone know approximately how long they usually take before approval? On the email, it states that I should expect a decision to be made in the next 60 days. Do they really take that long or are they giving themselves plenty of leeway???? I am hoping since they only asked for one thing that there will be no more reason for delay on the approval. I am really hoping and praying for a decision by the middle or end of this week. I don't believe that the petition is with the adjudicator yet as only the date for the I-130 changed to today and not the I-129F. When they were actively working on our petition at the beginning of last month, both dates changed every day as they were working. I think the information was only only entered into the computer by the person in the mailroom and maybe by tomorrow, it will physically be in the adjudicator's hand.

Hopefully I will be back later this week with good news for everyone! I really appreciate everyone who was so helpful to me on this website. It really helped to have a sounding board and someone to go to for information. I would have made so many mistakes had it not been for this website and the other people who were seasoned petitioners. Thank you to everyone for your help!!!!

Deb

hi all!

i called the USEM and they told me they have our K3 case already since Dec 20! Yipee! The girl said to wait 50-90 days for the interview *rolls eyes* i wonder what will happen to our CR1 since up until now, it hasn't completed yet.

Congrats to everyone on their approvals and interview scheds! :)

Unfortunately, I would suggest you have the full 60days in your mind for approval. I believe they took it to almost the full 60 days for My Honey to receive the approval after the RFE. If you keep the longest time in mind, any approval sooner will seem like a bonus. I hope the rest of your journey runs more smoothly, once you're out of the CSCs clutches, it really is a much smoother ride :)

And congrats, docjazzie :)

If you are fortunate, the CR1 will reach the US Embassy Manila before your K3 interview. Then you can request that your K3 interview become your CR1 interview.

If the CR1 petition does not reach Manla before you get your K3 visa, another option would be to fly back to Manila for the interview. A $1010 spent for a trip to the Phils should be more enjoyable than spending it on AOS.
