Police: Man Found With Doll in Restroom

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (AP) — A man was arrested after a government agent allegedly found him in an office building restroom lying next to an inflatable, anatomically correct doll with his pants down.

Craig S. McCullough, 47, was charged Wednesday with indecent exposure, a misdemeanor.

The criminal complaint against McCullough says he was discovered in the public restroom by an agent for the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency, which is one of the federal agencies that rents space in the Hach office building.

McCullough was arrested, and Cedar Rapids police took him to the Linn County jail. His arraignment was scheduled later Friday, police spokeswoman Cristy Hamblin said.

Another agency has an outstanding warrant against McCullough, but the reason for that warrant was not immediately clear, Hamblin said. He was still in jail Friday morning and it wasn't clear if he had an attorney.

McCullough's criminal record includes a 2004 conviction for burglarizing Just For Me bridal boutique. Shortly after the burglary, police officers found McCullough in a nearby alley, carrying a mannequin wearing a bridal dress.

Speaking of guys who love dolls....Ryan Gosling in Lars and the Real Girl went into major theatrical release yesterday.

It's getting really good reviews...

Does anybody really think that jail and/or a fine will "rehabilitate" this guy?

That sounds like a real life story I saw a documentary on. One of the subjects is named Davecat, he lives with his Real Doll as if she were real. You can find websites and articles about him all over the place if you google Davecat. The documentary also featured other men who lived with their real dolls as if they were real. One man had 9 Real Dolls and was starting a relationship with a real woman... she got creeped out when she came over for his birthday and some of his 'girls' were sitting around the table and the living room attending the party :unsure:

10+ years ago I worked in a place that sold things like that, one night after work a few of us left together and when we turned a corner near this business there was a man doing his business with one, out, in the open, on the side of the street, on the HOOD of a car (presumably HIS car, but you never know)!!! couldn't even wait to get home, we all (mixed company btw) had a wonderful laugh at this mans expense!
