I met Claudeth on Cherry Blossoms while messing around with anfriend's I.D. that he used to meet his wife. He ended up moving there and marrying her and stayed for four years until he found out she was cheating on him. She cheated on him so he cheated on me and didn't repay a 5k loan to me so now he is an ex-friend but I still have my baby

I have been eating at a local vietnamese restaurant for the past few years regularly and got to know the owner, a truely gem of a lady. One day I said "Man, I need a Vietnamese wife to cook me this stuff" and she laughed and said she had a neice that needed a good husband. So one thing led to another and that is how we were introduced. :D

Through yahoo meetic. I did it just to try it out, not expecting much of anything. I'm glad that I did as she is the best thing that has ever happened to me.

If you have an opinion, even if it's harsh, I'm willing to listen to it.

As to Thi and me, we met online thru Vietsingle.com. While I wasn't planing on being anythng more than a penpal to anyone in Vietnam, we found a connection by being friends that grew into love.

I work at an electronics manufacturing company and the majority of my coworkers are asian, mostly Vietnamese. So the on going "joke" for the 1 or 2 white boys to say when one of the guys is going back home is "do you have any nieces to bring back."

Needless to say i said this to a guy, next day he had a picture and i said... why not? Sent a picture of me along with him to his niece and thanks to Yahoo! mail, messanger, and web cam, i am now very happily married to Tram :). (she's over my shoulder reading hehehe.)

Ahhhhh yes, the internet!

I have to say I am very curious as to your circumstances.

But just look at what most people in the US do. They dress up in clothes they do not normally wear, put on fragrance and makeup/hair dye that hides their natural odor and appearance, go to a night club to get drunk and act like a different person, only to try to attract someone to breed with for the evening. If everything works out to be remotely acceptable, meaning the booze didnt make you say something unforgivably stupid and you performed well in the sack, then you begin a relationship.

I find the typical way mentioned above to be the harshest of harsh. =)

I met my fiancee while I was teaching in Bangkok. She was also a teacher and was in town visiting her brother. We met in a Starbucks and ended up having dinner together. We kept in touch after she went back home to the North. We would visit each other a few times a month. After two years I returned to America to earn a Master's degree and save some money. It's been over two years and we are now preparing for her to come stay here in America. I have been back to Thailand twice and she has been here once.

About the same as another one above. My fiancees Aunt opened a hair cutting place and I started going there about 6 years ago. We had become friends and she a problem with her building once and I took care of it and also once about her license and helped out. She had a niece that said she was unhappy with the boys she had dated and if she knew anyone nice. Her Aunt asked me and I said NO. She kept on and after a few years I said I will talk with her. We did a few times but our language barrier made it hard. She started English courses and went to a internet place and got a yahoo ID and pinged me one night.

After awhile we were able to really communicate and last year after a couple years of off and on chat she said how long was I gonna keep her waiting. I said I had no idea I was making her wait and she said that I was and she will continue waiting as long as it took but was curious about how long I thought it would be. I was stunned to say the least but then thought about it and knew I liked her a lot and took the plunge. After time after my head was more tuned to it I started asking more personal stuff as she did me and we fell in love. She was a great girl and all but thought she was too nice for me.

I went to see her early this year with her Uncle and met her family. They were awesome to say the least. I asked her dad if I could marry her and he said yes. We got engaged and had a party. A few hundred showed up I imagine but now I am engaged and happy.

I met my fiance on World Of warcraft a HUGE multiplayer game. I never thought in my wildest dreams we would ever fall in love. We would talk for HOURS on Vent (a voice chat gamers use)

then we went to MSN, Yahoo and Skype. I absolutely am so lucky and blessed to have this Man in my life. I have never been so deeply in love as I am now. we have been together over 2 years and I cant WAIT to start this amazing journey with him In the States!

At first We were judged because we met online until they see us together..I feel this way those who judge are closed minded OR had a bad experience. I respect that as long as they can respect the fact it is our life and see WE are a couple and WILL be together a very long long time.
