K-1 Visa

It took 115 days to get approved for our NOA2

Interview date took 168 days from date of filing

AOS/EAD/AP

3/26/08 AOS Filed (More waiting) Yikes!

4/1/08 All 3 NOA's received

4/22/08 Bio Appointment

4/15/08 touch on AOS

4/28/08 touch again

5/8/08 EAD card recieved!

5/9/08 touch again

5/12/08 and again

5/13/08 and again

7/8/08 RFE (Go figure)! LOST MEDICAL

7/18/08 Semih went and got a 2nd medical

8/22/08 AOS approved

09/16/08 GREEN CARD IN HAND!!!!!!!!

6/16/10 Mailed I751 Adjustment of status

6/19/10 Received (Now we wait)

6/23/10 Check Cashed

8/12/10 Bio

8/13/10 Touched

On September 2, 2010, we ordered production of your new card

Approved without interview for the 2nd time

9/17/10 Green Card in hand

I'm happy for you. I have my own good news I want to spread too!

The tide may be turning. Projected processing times may be decreasing!

I just looked today like I look everyday and I saw that both my K3 and K1 visas processing times have decreased in wait time by two weeks!

Whoot! Whoot!

:dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance:

Are they catching up from the rush of applications before the July fee increase? This is much better than looking every week and finding my processing time increasing! I know it's just two weeks but it's hope! Anyone else noticed the same decreasing?

Can I get a Whoot Whoot!!?

Yes... the times decreased significantly but they just went back up. They are processing early May and late April as we speak and there have been a rash of late April filers getting aprroved. I think I have a good 2 more months till I see an NOA2

by the way my noa2 is exactly 2 weeks behind you on the I130 but they hold it for the 129f. I think you and I will be getting news at about the same time ( sometime in December. I do not think they will be into June filers until late November. hopefull I will have an answer by the time I leave for Algeria in December
