Good to see my fiance's and my name on an official document. Glad to be a part of this group.

Dec 31st, 2005: K1 Application mailed.

Jan 3rd, 2006: CSC received application.

Jan 6th, 2006: Check cashed.

Jan 12th, 2006: I received NOA 1. Good sign? Hopefully!!!! Any comments welcomed. :unsure:

June 15, 2009 - Notice Date

June 19, 2009 - Recieved NOA

July 15, 2009 - Scheduled for biometrics

Sept 21, 2009 - Scheduled for Interview ....Passed the interview test

Oct. 16, 2009 - Oath taking

Congrats on the beginning of your visa journey...I see you are going through CSC, they are the slowest center so be patient and your time will come....Just to give you an idea I have been waiting 3 months for NOA2....but good luck and we are all here for you.

10/25/2005 - I-129F packet mailed to TSC

11/03/2005 - NOA 1 from CSC

11/07/2005 - Check cashed

02/03/2006 - NOA2 by e-mail

05/03/2006 - Leave for Jamaica

05/09/2006 - Interview "VISA APPROVED"

05/15/2006 - Return from Jamaica

05/22/2006 - Called off the wedding and Adrian left

Welcome vishrit! My fiancee is also from India and she went through the Chennai consulate. Our visa was approved last month and she just joined me here a couple of weeks ago. If I can be of any help, please let me know.

7/27/2005 Went to India to see Sowmya

7/31/2005 Proposed and she said "yes"!

08/05/2005 Held official engagement ceremony

08/07/2005 Returned to US

08/26/2005 Sent in I-129F petition

08/31/2005 Received online NOA1

09/02/2005 Received NOA1 through snail mail

11/22/2005 Received online NOA2!!! (Day 88)

11/26/2005 Received NOA2 through snail mail.

11/28/2005 NVC receives case

12/1/2005 Case sent to Chennai consulate via DHL

Hello everyone. Thank you so much for the wonderful responses and offers of help. Just to give you guys a little background information..... My fiance and I have been dating since high school (I was in India at that time). It has been six years since then and we have managed to be together and things have only become better. We meet once a year for about three to four weeks and keep the flames burning through text messages, emails, daily phone calls and weekly chat sessions. After six long years, I have become very patient with things and will continue to do so.

So, that is my story. Thanks once again to all for your wonderful support. I am glad I can turn to someone when a question arises.

Good luck on your cases as well. I would be glad to help in anyway I can.
