The "evidence of support" is something your American fiance/fiancee must show. Immigration wants proof that the American citizen has enough money to provide for the foreign fiance/spouse when they come to the U.S. They will want to see proof of income or assets, or else your fiance/fiancee will need a co-sponsor.

Tell your fiance/fiancee to come here to this site to ask questions -- he or she will find much help here !

Good luck !

Remember the US Consulate in Casablanca does not require the affidavit of support for the finace visa. It is something that will be needed once in the US and filing for adjustment of status.

Mine is all in English. If your fiancee would come to this board, she would find very helpful information. As of this time, the consulate will not require proof that your fiancee will be able to support you here in the United States when filing the K-1. She will have to prove she can support you when filing for Adjustment of Status, after you are married. Good luck on your journey.

Make sure you are viewing the page as unicode. With other character sets, it will just show gremlins.
