i have a kid up my ####### when im not at work, and when im at work i have customers up my #######. when the kids are asleep my hubby is up my ####### (NOT IN THAT MANNER CHARLES)

i have absoultly NOOOOOOOOOOOOO free time. yes its depressing

and i was gonna ask just what kinda job you do

I like to try cooking something different and have my hubby as my Guinea pig

A few weeks ago I made this banana pancakes and I put way too much nutmeg that it tasted nasty, I couldn't eat it but poor hubby ate it all

- hubster and I belong to an ethnic dining group (we go to an off-the-beaten-path ethnic restaurant once a month....last month Senagalese, this month Peruvian, next month Moroccan)

- also belong to a group of ladies that goes out for proper afternoon tea once a month to various fancy hotels or restaurants. We get the whole shebang...tea, tea sandwiches, scones... it's fab!

Frances, I have to say, these two hobbies of yours are really cool and interesting!

One thing I could suggest is having a bath every night. Light a few candles, take in a magazine and make sure that everyone knows that this is Tara's half hour to be LEFT ALONE. Do it when the kids are in bed and hubby knows to leave you alone. Just relax and chill out. Sometimes you just have to say "right! It's ME-TIME! The rest of you can sod off!". Stuff like that.

You might find it is just what you need.

I really can't say I do anything for just fun. Everything has a mixed agenda. I have never really ever had fun alone. Fun is best enjoyed in the company of someone special. When I am with my fiancée it will be different.

i do this put not for fun...putting up fences..not small ones but 6 foot tall 1oo foot long..bestst..i have 2 already and be putting up 3 more next week..sanita fences in the fences..i am convinced she thinks Putin and the Russian Army will invade and wants to slow the, down.////you can take the girl out of Chechnya but she is still a Chechen in behavior...

Free time...hmmm....

When I was alone (or with my daughter), before my husband:

- Hiking along the AT (Appalachian Trail)

- Watching movies

- Cooking/Baking

- Drawing/Painting

- Digital Photography

- Reading (most anything except those Harlequin Romances...ick!)

With my husband (and with our daughter)

- all of the above we do together except for the reading (he reads, but not as much as I do)

- hubby loves his Flight Sim and Final Fantasy

- going to eclectic restaurants and listening to eclectic music

(our favourite band is Emerald Rose - Celtic Rock)

- exploring....anywhere and everything possible

I know what you mean - not for fun but necessity. I was pouring concrete slabs all summer long during my free weekends at our new house and then a couple cold ones after I finish (have a cement mixer for this). Now that I am finished, it will be retiling the bathroom next.

PS. If Kaz attacks I'm screwed coz dont have my fences up yet .
